Never Too Busy to Help
If you know me by now, I spend a good amount of time on Live Chat during the day and some evenings (wife permitting:). while I am working on my business. I am never too busy to help.
I have a war battered MacBook Pro sitting close by in the corner of my office just monitoring Live Chat, (with the bong sound left turned on) waiting for a notification on the Live Chat sidebar, that someone is in need. I glance up, as its on a stand above my messy papers, and wait a minute to see if someone answers.
MY LURKING COMPUTER
Someone needs help and they are sitting there somewhere around the globe wondering if Wealthy Affiliate is really as good as people say it is, with amazing helpful people, knowledgeable, and available 24/7. That's when we should be never too busy to help.
It's all very well to search the huge database and find the answer for beginners, but helping goes much further for me. It's human to like being thanked (who doesn't) but helping is very good for the soul. It's a principle I learned in the good Book: giving of yourself without thought of a reward. It's the same principle I learned with WA's motto, Paying It Forward, and it has its rewards!
It also keeps us on our toes to stay up to date too.
So next time you see someone struggling on chat, think back to when you first joined and look at where you are today because of that help, and give of yourself for a few minutes. You will be surprised to see your business will actually take care itself.
Thanks for reading
Have a happy, holy and safe Christmas.
As always, See you @ the Top!

Thanks Micheal. You know I'm still relitively new here but , I agree with you. I have not been able to help another often but when I can I do AND it feels good. It feels good to know that in some small way I will have contributed to someones success. You have done the same for me seems fair to pay it forward when I can
Hi Wayne, You have already succeeded with that attitude.

Hi Michael.
I love the live chats. You don not have to wait for an answer. Their is so many people willing to help. However it is a give and take, you can not just take. It is such an awesome feeling when I am able to help someone.
Thank you for this article.

Just one of the few reasons why I respect you, Michael. Your actions speak louder than your words. You have helped a lot of people.
And you kindly follow people back when they follow you. It's a trait that I have observed in Kyle. Kyle takes the initiative to not only 'offer' help, but he actually helps out in many ways and many forms.
Your feedback and input have helped me tremendously. I know how it feels to start from scratch. I did ask some silly questions (where is the kitchen sink option, how to increase my font, etc) at the beginning, now I am an expert in using the search bar to find great info : ).
I have been here 1.5 months. I have learned and grown so much!!
You help, you answer, you follow-through, follow-up, you knowledge people. These are the things that are encouraging to new members and experienced in the WA community.
Thank you for taking the time to help us all. I appreciate the post and reminder. I will do my best to pay it forward.
Winn, words fail me. Thank you.
See you @ the Top!
