I'm not sure about all article submission sites, but the specific one I posted here has to be a unique article which for me personally, I created as a blog in my website first, then copied and edited for the article submission to meet the requirements set therein.

Over the years, article directories have lost their SEO advantages due to changes in the search engines' algorithms.

Here's a link to Carson's take on writing for WA's own Street Articles directory:

"Article Directories are not something that offer much benefit at all anymore, other than to help Google find your website when it's brand new. That said, the second you share your website at Wealthy Affiliate, Google knows about it within seconds.

Although we own http://StreetArticlces.com, it's of little value to people to post their content on. We suggest posting all content on your website, not on any directory."
