Researching

Last Update: July 06, 2020

I find myself spending more time researching than actually working on my website. The last thing I want to do is spread bad or flat out wrong information to potential customers. I've moved on to level 3 of the training, but I keep finding parts of my website that aren't quite right. Especially graphics. The graphics I am using all have to be snipped and cropped so they look good. This takes huge amounts of time. But I figure it,s all part of the game. I stumbled across another get rich fast ad on youtube the other day. Who are these people fooling?

I try to find the silver part of the cloud - I am retired, so the stay at home policies enacted because of covid 19 is not a problem for me. I can't wait to get into the affiliate part of the training, which for me looks like the next step.

The reason I am posting this short blog is because I am curious as to how much time and effort are being exerted by other WA members - today (so far) I spent about 2 hours researching, another hour tydying up some graphics and another hour or so locking down that elusive keyword and working it into my content. Then, working mny way through the next step of the WA training.

Some of my friends think I am wasting my time. Which of course I am not. Making some cash is still a ways out, but, what's the saying, nothing worth doing is easy? Anyway, I am very curious as to how much time WA members spend researching their niche.

You asked about time spent...

I try to spend my most productive hours, mornings and early afternoon, writing articles. I try to do my research in the evening when I’m more tired and am not up for writing.

I think it’s easy to get caught up in research and by delegating it to a different time of day, I’m keeping it from distracting me from writing content.

Good luck with everything!

Research is a tricky thing. Be watchful of websites that does not give correct data, misleading information, and bloated analysis of things.

I am very careful with information I retrieve from the web. I was last looking at the Rockwell hardness scale, which is a measure of how hard a piece of metal is (my niche is knives).
