By Day 2 I'm hooked on Wealthy Affiliate! The platform looks amazing, gives you everything you need for an online business and the WA community is warm, inviting and helpful! The pay-forward action of helping others is awesome!
In the last 2 years I have tried 2 MLM companies unsuccessfully. Even though I'm in Sales, Business Development and Marketing I just couldn't convert people, mainly my friends and family. So I'd loose interest yet, spend lots of dollars to be a part of something that just wasn't working for me!
Yes, I've come across one or two internet scams and have been sucked in to the idea of quick success. But alas, there is no quick success. Every business takes time, effort, and determination.
Even recently in the last few days I came across Aspire, that promises you are able to sell high tier high ticket products only to do further investigation on the internet and realise its another MLM company.
That didn't deter me, however because I love the internet, marketing and the 'Information age'. I spend all my spare time either on the internet or reading books on business, success, sales, personal development and social selling! Pretty much anything that teaches you how to be successful, healthy and wealthy!
I'd read about other people's success stories from people like Gary Vee (Vaynerchuk) to inspirational people like Richard Branson and many others. If they could have success, could I?
Always looking for ways to make money online and getting out of the 'rat race' and the 'job' mentality of trading time for money. Always hoping there must be another way to create a better lifestyle with more financial freedom and time to enjoy life rather than being tied to a job you don't necessarily like.
So here I am on a new journey with WA and internet marketing with an online business. I'm impressed by the WA platform. I'm a newbie and big WA fan already!
