I would not, it could hurt you over all. Just write it fresh and if the same words come out that is fine. But don't copy and past.

Thanks for the reply.

Basically I didn't mean copy paste but still they could be very close some times...

I'll try to write them from memory then and whatever comes up

Thanks

Hi there Tasos

I'm not a specialist but these links might help you if you have not found your answer yet: Good luck

Thanks Celie,

I found these quiestions earlier but still don't understand how it is possible to have such big differences...

It's like telling me that I have chances to get on top of google for "iphone 6s", I was expecting iphone 6s to have a QSR of 1000!!

I guess I should stick to the WA keyword tool and trust the result...

You will never find QSR more than 400-500 because Google disregards everything above it as unimportant. Nobody goes so many pages deep. So 1000 is not possible.

As for "keyword tool" you are right. I think KT does not work properly. Earlier, agreement with Google was perfect.

Thanks for the clarification.

I guess what we are looking for is to get a QSR as small as possible, even if KT is not working properly and not stick to the "less than 300" rule.

You will never rank with such a high competition. With 300 exact match words, Google will add 5 times more 'relevant' competing pages.

I always try to keep it below 30.

Thanks for the tip Jovo! I will try to keep it as low as possible.

Hello,

I have started building my first WA website, done my research, found my products and already in the progress of writing my first review.

I was thinking of ad

Not a bad idea but personally I wouldn't do it.
You have to watch out for duplicate content within your website.
This post might not rank if it contains the same keyword as other posts or reviews.
I don't think this is rally necessary as people that are interested in your website will come back anyways.

Thanks for your reply ANgelBcn,

I plan to work on every keyword so each post has a unique one. Then writing a very brief - unique for each product - description of the product (4-5 lines) without any affiliate links. At the end of the description there will be something like "the product is currently under review. come back soon for more info".

Unique content but not enough for a review, just to give the heads up and make the website look better...

I don't know, just thinking out loud...

Hello,

Would it worth to have a main website, like my brand for example and add different subdomains for promotion of different niches?

Will my website gain more a

Are you talking about subdomains like --
cars.coolstuff.com
bikes.coolstuff.com
skateboards.coolstuff.com
(Where coolstuff.com would be your domain)?

If so, it doesn't really help your website gain authority, because you've added content from a LOT of different niches to your single site.

If you want to build a brand that stretches across niches, find a name that you can get all different names with.

coolstuffbikes.com
coolstuffcars.com
coolstuffskateboards.com

And then you're building a brand. Tie in your design across your sites and your customers will recognize you, and each site can gain its own traction and authority status.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the quick reply Kim.

Totally makes sense.

In that case, the only issue will be domain name availability.
I guess you can buy 2 or 3 domains to make sure.

Thanks again.

Tasos

You're welcome! Exactly. Domains are a small expense in the long-term plan of your business! Better to have the domains and not use them, then to think "I'll get them later" and someone else snatched them up.

Hello,

I am a bit confused with the part of the training about the affiliate links. I do understand that Google doesn't like to see affiliate links in every page but what

What happen if page have more than 30 internal links? Is it will get penalty by google?

Not so much, but Wow, that would be a lot!

~Debra

Use internal links where appropriate. I try to do 1 -2 per post. No harm in rankings

You will most likely get varied responses to this question. However I will share what I know and do as an example. Google doesn't hate affiliate links, it hates pages spammed with affiliate links and nothing else. Google loves unique content based on your opinions, experiences and content that will help the reader.

This is just my experience: I chase mainly 'buyer/commercial' keywords. These people are looking to buy something, so affiliate links are needed right. I do 8.5/10 pages like this. Every so often I write a non review/buyer intent post which offers helpful ideas/tips etc. And internal links of course. My sites are all over a year old (Oldest being 3.5 yrs) and haven been punished at all.

This is just my experience and many will say offer more information posts, which is needed in many niches. I think it goes by a website to website basis.

Hello Josh from Oz,

thanks for the quick reply.

That's exactly what I am trying to do. Give very informative reviews, with lots of information and between the product reviews give tips/tricks, know-how and industry news. Then slowly expand to a sub-niche into a broad niche in the same website.

It's the only way I think I will not run out of content to write!

Also, since you are doing about the same, could I ask you one more thing?

I am planning to use, at least for the beginning, the Amazon Affiliate Program. Amazon needs a website up and running before you apply for the membership right?

If that's the case, where do I get the product photos from? Should I use the ones from their website but without being an affiliate?

Thanks for your help

Tasos

Yea, you can use their images, I suggest putting a normal link to the product page as well. Amazon will automatically approve your application. Once you make your first sale, they will manually review your site to make sure it's in compliance with the associates agreement.

You have a time frame to make a sale, or they will cancel your account. I think it's 3 months, or 6 months. Its changes since I first applied. So have a look.

This is why it's best to have atleast 5 - 10 posts on your site before you even apply. That way you got more chance of making a sale in the required time frame.

Sounds like you have a good grasp on this whole affiliate marketing thing. I think you will do well with your approach. My last suggestion is once you are a amazon affiliate, study the rules!. Amazon can be very strict on what you cant do. So do some googling as to why Amazon could close your account.

Thanks a lot Josh, really appreciate!

We'll be in touch, you never know, I might be promoting brushes in a while and you'll be my customer!!!

I will sent you some discount coupons!

Thanks again
