Increase your Online Success
What can a person do to increase their online success?
Do Less. Less is more. Take note I must heed my own advice!!
I wanted to blog and the plan was to do 1 daily blog post for a month. But my attention has been all over the place. New plans, new ideas, old ideas, old websites etc etc..
Now let’s say on top of blogging you try and put together another website with a new theme your not familiar with. Its whole different beast and it will be trial and error.
You not only have to come up with content, but you have to figure it out, edit it , find plugins and on and on.
So here it is....heed my own advice!! If you want to be successful pick one thing and be really really good at it. Work really hard on it (over a given period of time) until you see results then add something else to the mix.
So where should you start?
Building up your audience! Building your email list and your blog. Why? Because launching future projects will be so, much easier.
There are always exceptions to the rule, (so I tell myself) but the best way to build your brand and your online presence is to build your blog.
If making income is at the forefront, then pick a skill and freelance. Put all of your time and effort into that. Don’t try and and build an e-commerce store, and ten niche sites.
Ask yourself : What is your primary goal..and focus on that.

'Launching' over these past few months, I've found it SO challenging to be focused on, as Gary Keller puts it; The One Thing. If I let myself, I'd be all over the board (and, trust me, it's happened more than once almost every day).
'Less is more' has been around for so long, it's surprising (and a bit embarrassing) that we don't pay it more heed. Thanks for the reminder! ;)

I agree, pick something you are passionate about and work on that until you reach success! Don't do too much at once as the enjoyment is lost! Work at your own pace. Thanks for reminding me!

thanks for sharing! this is actually the most common mistake of being overwhelmed of ideas like me. I will start a new project then here comes the new idea, and goes out of the path and leave other projects unfinished! It is really good to focus first on one thing and just proceed to the next project when the first one becomes successful!
