Could you please direct me on how I go about closing my account with WA?

If you would like to cancel this membership, you need to follow the steps below.
If you have any websites hosted here at WA, make sure you have backed them up and/or moved it to another host, before you cancel your membership.
Then click on your Profile Image (at the Top of the Left-Hand Side Menu) -> Account Settings -> then Scroll down to Subscription Settings -> Click on Membership and then on Stop Billing & Cancel Membership
WA will keep a backup for up to 60 days, so if you return within 60 days, they can restore your website from their backup. Otherwise, you will need to provide your own backup to restore from.
Cancel Wealthy Affiliate Membership and Stop Billing make sure to cancel before your next renewal is due or you might be changed automatically
Yes, I was just charged Oct 9th so I'm hoping there is time to avoid the additional charge. Thanks for the heads up.
You are welcome shame to see you go but if you still decide to cancel best to do it at least a couple of days before you renewal date.

To add to the responses you've already been given, I would add one important factor ... if you have made your membership payments through Paypal, you will also want to go and cancel the automatic payment through them. Neglecting to do so could result in your being charged again.

I'm not certain of that. You may want to check with your card provider to see if they also have an automatic payment you need to cancel just to be safe.
