2017 was a year of leaping into the unknown by venturing into the wide world of online business. It has been an exceptional experience of accelerated learning.
My motto set the sail for an incredible learning curve that is evolving daily. It is an invigorating and exciting journey.

Going to University Without Paying The Fees
I booked into Wealthy Affiliate, clicked the green button to begin the Certification Course and then pressed the super charge button and advanced to Premium Membership. This set in motion a fascinating experience of creating an online business.
If I had to put on a scale from 1 to 10 what I knew about operating an online business, creating a website and the million other aspects required for a business venture of this nature, I would score sub-zero!
Suddenly it all became about the niche. The word buzzed round like a mosquito.
In 2009, I set up a blog site then got blogged down and that was it. I had my niche! It has been part of my life waiting for an opportunity.
The title of the dead end blog site is the domain name of my .com website, my first piece of internet real estate.
Step by step, stage by stage I have created my own website with virtual assistance from Wealthy Affiliate and its ingenuous systems.
Going The Extra 1000 Miles
Last week I had a problem with inserting a code into the website. I posted the problem on the Wealthy Affiliate Question Forum and received lots of assistance but the issue persisted.
A colleague spent hours reading a 9-page document and going through stuff and found the root of the problem and gave me a step by step instruction on how to resolve the issue.
This is one example of the level of support and commitment I have experienced.
Thank you dear colleagues for the dedication and willingness to share your experiences and help me learn the vast amount of things required to build a successful online business.
Keywords Are King
The next thing I discovered a huge hullabaloo about are keywords, enough to put bees inside my head.
Oh but now there is Jaxxy, this snazzy tool that does incredible things. It has functions to help with the vital task of selecting appropriate keywords and phrases.
I am learning how to make Soup out of the Alphabet - Jaaxy is teaching me.
My favourite function keeps track of site rankings with Google Yahoo and Bing. I have to discipline myself about limiting the times I visit and play here.
No Time To Waste Off To Learn
Wealthy Affiliate are very committed in Paying It Forward, what I learn I pass on.
Another important fact I have learned is that If I can do it you can do it. Success is achieved by duplication.
It would take screeds to let you know all I have learned. My website is testimony to what I have accomplished. It is still new, a work in progress. As I learn and gain more experience I will keep tweeking, rinsing and growing the site.

It would be great to get an opinion on where I am on the scale from 1 to 10.

Thanks for reading. It seems to do this on mobile and I don't know how to fix it. Will post a question on the forum. We got a lot of learning to do.
And the more you continue to surface above sub zero Tania, the easier it will be to breathe, which is just as well because ongoing challenges are always part of ongoing learning.
The great thing as you say and and which we can all benefit from remembering is. "I can do anything."
