Irma, go away!
Irma must be wreaking havoc with everyone. My email is sooooo slow. I usually have trouble keeping up with all my emails. I usually get 100+ emails per day. But tonight I am just sitting here looking at an empty inbox. That is so strange!
It may be that everyone in the path of Irma has lost power or is just watching the storm. I know at my house the winds are really strong and gusting really big. My power keeps flickering off and on. The wind is howling and my tress are whipping around and around. It's all pretty scary. The news is telling us that the worst is yet to come. There are reports of trees down in the area and a 59-year-old man has been trapped. The fire department is working too free him now. Irma go away!!!
I have lanterns at the ready, water stored up and flashlights have new batteries and are ready to be switched on. That is about all that can be done at this point. The waiting is the worst of all. It's like you just want to say "Stop", and everything will return to normal. I have a feeling that 'normal' is somewhere in the future for so many.
So I am going to cut this short for tonight and be ready to react to whatever action that I may have to take.
Praying that everyone in the path of this massive storm stays safe and unharmed.
As always, your comments, likes, or dislikes are welcome below.
Stay safe and Be Blessed
Thanks for taking the time to stop by...

How the internet shrinks the world. Here I am just a click away but in another continent. Outside the sun is shining, the sky is blue with a sprinkling of clouds. My biggest debate whilst I sip my tea is whether to take the dogs out first or do a bit of gardening.
My thoughts are with you at what must be trying times. But you know what they say...What doesn`t kill you makes you stronger!
Stay safe.
Paul.
Thanks for your kind thoughts Paul.
It it is still awe-inspiring to me that you are only a click away, but as you say...many miles away. Kind of humbles a person
All is well here today, just some major clean-up to be done.
Thanks again...

Are you in Florida too, Tammy? The worst should be over of course but don't be complacent just yet. Watch out for trees that can fall, snakes, alligators even.It will take some time for things to go back to normal.
Praying for you all there.
It was pretty quiet today at WA. I noticed it too. It was the start of the week , maybe thats why.
You are all ready for anything that comes. Yes, I agree, Irma go away! Prayers lifted. Be safe, and strong!

It was a rainy, windy, gray day in Charleston so I actually went to bed early. My inactivity on e-mail was selective. Jay
