I finally found an affiliate program and made up my mind on what im going to be working towards, but i can't affiliate with them because im not 18 yet. I guess i should wait til

Advice below is good…..build the site and work on quality content…..

Looks like you have no choice - but as others have said that will give you plenty of opportunity to build content.

Yup,now work on getting trafic.

Yep.keep building your traffic and when the time comes you'll be laughing

lol alright ill do that thanks

In the mean time you can keep building up traffic so when you do turn 18 you can already have a site set up with good traffic.

Work on building traffic in the meantime. So by the time you're ready you wouldn't have to "start".

From the start of using this program i knew this was going to happen to me. My whole life growing up I've had this i hate writing/reading attitude, but when i started using weal

I hate writing too. But you have to do it one at a time. Try to brainstorm and put the points as a layout. Elaborate the points further. Do some research online. As much as you write, you need to do reading as well. Don't be overwhelmed. One at a time.

You have gotten some great advice here already.

On the writing thing - can you make an outline? Let's say your niche is dog training - because that is the first thing that came to my mind, lol. You might want to write a post on a dog training tool, or book. Your outline would look something like:

Book title and overview

A couple of points from the book in your own words

Takeaways from the book

Conclusion

Now I could probably improve on this if it was not 1:23 a.m., but hopefully this is helpful.

Think of some things that someone who is new to your niche would want to know. Maybe best practices, or worst things to do, or best places to go to do _____. These would be your blog posts and then you form the outline for each post. The outline will help you streamline your post and provide a framework for what you want to write about. As you do the outline, the writing becomes easier. It is always easier to write once you have an idea of what you want to write, and how you are going to organize it. This is how I taught my stepson and my daughter to write. Hopefully it helps.

As pretty much everyone else has said, you might want to just do the one site first. Do some outlines of your blog posts. Write some posts and publish them. Then continue to add content. When you've started to see traffic and conversions and have a healthy stable of content to post into the future, THEN maybe you can try doing another website. Learn from all of us - it is exhausting and not productive to have multiple sites when you are just beginning.

Let us know how you go!

Focus on ONE site at a time and follow through ALL the lessons and complete all the tasks. Don't skip a thing as it's all here to help you!!

Have you done all the lessons (all levels) from WA? Do them all for 1 website then go for the other one. Once your done the lessons for 2 websites get a schedule up so you are organized. I would only start your 3rd site only when you are comfortable with the first 2.
That was my 2 cents.

Im stuck on level 3 because one of the tasks is to publish an article to street articles

Write an article for your site and go ti next lessons. Create consistency, keep going forward.

You are in week 2 with 3 websites..... so how much training have you completed? If you are skipping training you are making a big mistake.

Only completed level 2

Hello Victor,

I agree with what others say below. One site for now and get that one good. Choose the one you feel would do you the best and put the other two aside for now. If you have issues with writing at this time, you will be doing yourself a favour by having just one campaign. Highly recommended.

As you move through the courses on here you will pick up pointers on how to write articles. They're not hard once you get used to it.

Being in a training platform like this, you will get plenty of practice. Give yourself a chance and know that this is all part of the learning curve.

Some keywords to plug into the search bar at the top that will help you get to resources that you need,

niche
find niche
write article

things like this.

I congratulate you for coming on here knowing you would be facing things you may not like to do.

Find and read a lot of someone else site similar with your niche maybe can get you inspire about what you'll write.

Hi Victor.

Firstly, I agree with Mel - 3 sites is a lot to start off with,

If you're struggling to come up with content, have you picked a niche that you're really interested in?

Forget about writing just for a moment - for your niche's - can you list 10 things you could talk about? If not, it's probably not the best niche that you've chosen.

Is there anything else you're more passionate about that you could create a site around?

All the best, Mark

I agree whole heartedly.

May I make a suggestion ? Focus on ONE website, especially just starting off, learning, you want to put your time and attention on building one website, other wise you are spreading your self all over the place. Second suggestion, forget the other two websites for now, focus on the one that you are most passionate about... keep with the training, follow it step by step, do all the tasks. Don't rush through them, if you need to go over the lessons a couple of times to really get it, then do it. There is no point in rushing through the lessons, not doing the tasks as they help you BUILD, step by step. As far as writing content you can 1. type in "content" in the search bar for some Training, post, and blogs 2. check out this blog https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/bis/blog/generate-writing-ideas-with-free-content-research-tools and last :-) don't stress over writing, just do it, you can use a number of strategies to get your thoughts down on paper.. for example https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/5-easy-article-writing-templates Hope this helps :-)

well written, I got to say that focus is the name of the game

3 websites is a lot to deal with all at once. 1 website to me takes a lot of work already. Don't think about promoting anything with street articles right now, you can do that later. Do research - use jaaxy and add a keyword related to your niche it will give you some ideas on what to write about. Working on 3 websites all at once when starting out is not advisable per the training. I would concentrate on 1 right now.

In the process of writing an article I was trying to become an affiliate with americanmuscle.com, so i went on google and searched american muscle affiliate programs. The list o

GO for it !

Hi, you are doing so well just last week or the week before you were just starting, diffently a sign that you had to do that site also. Good on you for embracing it.

It has been 11 days =)

The site is up and runnig take a look http://formybodyfitness.com/about-me

Awesome. I would add another paragraph, about how the site will benefit them. You mention it briefly, but go into more detail. What kind of diets, excercises and advice can they expect? What questions will you answer? What did you discover about weight loss and building muscle that made you want to start this site? Is it just for men? All that. Maybe a couple of paragraphs. I can't believe you've got it up and started already!

Incidentally, I don't think it's a sign. I think it's one of those left-base bounces life throws at us that you had the foresight to run with. Excellent.

Thanks for all the support =)

Just needs some more content, but doing so well

That's quite the anecdote. It's funny how things work out sometimes, and like everyone else has said, that might just be your sign. I hope everything pans out regardless of your direction.

Thanks for sharing.

The sign points in that direction.

This could be a sign!! Best wishes on your body building site ;)

Thanks =)

Haha, might be a sign

I know! It's awesome. :D

Sometimes it's funny how life works out

Ha-ha-ha! Yeah, it seems a shame to have an affiliate program and let it go to waste. Life is weird.

maybe it was meant to happen. Who knows lol

I can just see you throwing a site together *just* to use that affiliate link, and it makes you a million bucks! I'd die laughing!

You know what, you read my mind i already bought the domain lol

Horrors! You have my "Why make life simple when it can be so much more complicated?" syndrome! Two sites is a ton of work, Victor. But I can't say much--I have three on the go, and a fourth in the works. Why?

Just Because I Can.

I will say the last two are dragging far behind; I am putting most of my work into the first two. I'll add more to the others in earnest when I have a hundred pages/posts on the first ones and can relax a bit, maybe do a page a week after that for each and work on the third. The fourth is really just a siterubix site I'm working on for the sheer fun of it.

lmao your first sentence had me dying. I plan on working on the new one full time. I had a hard time finding an affiliate program for mustangs and the fitness one just came to me. I also think fitness would be so much easier

It might be. I hope you keep the mustangs one going, though. It's awesome. I do have to say that the fitness industry has a ton of niche possibilities--have you narrowed it down to something specific that interests you?

Well the site i joined looks pretty simple. i have many ideas flying through my head actually. check it out http://www.americanmuscle.us/197.html

Pretty impressive. So from the looks of it, you'd be creating a body-building site and specifically promoting American Muscle? Looks real doable from this end. Keep us apprised of how it's going. If it works out, you could write a kick-butt blog about it.

That's a great idea! I am looking forward to that

Keep moving forward!

lol it happens. Contact the website directly and ask them if they have an affiliate program or if not, have they thought of introducing one?

1. Do you have to join an affiliate network (Commission Junction) to join an affiliate program?

2. Can you buy your domain AFTER you join an affiliate network or program o

When you first start out, everything seems overwhelming. There are so many details to sort out. It will get easier as long as you keep on working on it. This is a great place to get the help you need to clear the fog.

I'm seeing some different opinions here. I will add mine:

1. No, you don't have to join an affiliate network like Commission Junction. In fact, they probably won't let you sign up until you have a website or a way to promote. The benefit to Commission Junction and other affiliate sites is that there are many affiliate programs to choose from. You still have to get approval from each program even if you belong to the network in most instances. WA is a good example of an affiliate program you can promote without joining a network. And, as a member, you are already approved.

If you are going to sell an information product, you might decide to sell it through Clickbank. If you sign up for Clickbank, you will also be able to promote the other products being offered.

2. As I said in answer number 1, you probably need to show that you can promote the product, and having a website will help you do that. However, there is no "rule." Some marketers manage to develop an email list to market to without a formal website. No matter what, you need to know how you will reach an audience that may buy what you are selling.

Because a domain name is not expensive (about $10 on NameCheap.com) you can register a few names and you will be ready to go. I have about 40 domains registered right now but only 4 websites.

3. SSN means Social Security Number. The networks will report your income and that is why they need that. Only sole proprietors (single owner) can use their Social Security numbers. All businesses can get a Tax ID to use instead. I think VAT means Value Added Tax, but I don't know how that applies.

Very help response. I have a question for you though. Why 40 domains but only 4 sites? How does that benefit you?

You asked why I have so many domains. I guess I am an optimist! Whenever I have an idea I tend to look up and see if the domain is available. Domain names can also be valuable. If you can get a good one, you could sell it for hundreds or even thousands of dollars. About 10-15 years ago, it was pretty easy to get a good domain name. Then, they started to all be taken. What is a good domain name? Back then, everyone wanted names that were simple like cars.com or health.com. Those will never be available again, but there are some excellent domain names that people have purchased, never used, and then they become available again. It can be fun when you hit on a good name that you never thought you could get.

In response to your questions here Victor:

(1) No, you don't. There are affiliate networks and there are also 10,000's of independent affiliate programs out there as well. I suggest you choose the affiliate program based on the product and the value it will offer your audience. Align a customer with a product they are looking for and you make a sale.

(2) Your domain should come first and has nothing to do with the affiliate programs you join. It has to do with your niche. You don't really need to worry so much about what you are promoting until you have traffic (an audience to promote to).

(3) This is only relevant if it is applicable to you (living in the US). If you don't have one, then put in N/A.

Hope this helps you out.

Thanks Kyle very helpful.

No problem Victor, glad I could help you out.

Q1 If you are planning on promoting other people's products then you should join the recommended affiliate networks so you have a wide choice of products to promote for your niche.

Q2. It depends on the affiliate program. For example, Amazon requires that you have a proper site before they will accept you. Same goes for Adsense.

Join the recommended affiliate networks when you are asked to do so in the lesson that covers this.

Affiliate networks handle the payment side of things for affiliate programs. Some affiliate programs use Clickbank, for example. Others use Commission Junction, and some use JVZoo and others.

Q3. Those are your Tax identification details. They call them different names in different countries. By law the affiliate network must report it if they pay you over a certain amount. In the U.S., I'm not sure, I think it is over $600. I live in Australia, so you should check that.

Hope this helps. ~Jude

1. Yes, you need to join an affiliate program. 2. Some Affiliate Companies required a domain (your own) to be accepted but with Amazon you can use your free siterubix site to apply. 3. The "Tax ID, SSN or VAT" these are for tax purposes. This depend on which country you live.

1. That is one affiliate network that you can join to be an affiliate and there are thousands more.
2. Some affiliate networks require you already have a website set up before they can approve your application to be an affiliate.
3. Tax ID/SSN/or VAT is for tax purposes. If your commissions reach a certain threshold they would need to report it to IRS and issue you a 1099 form (if you are a resident of the United States for 1099)

Hope this helps.

WA Affiliate Program
Updated

I love this program and website but I am mostly using it ffeom my mobile device and i find it very difficult at times. I find this website not mobile friendly at all so i though

Or even just to stand out even more from the scams along with chaging our price. Lets go 4 it.

wait what?

Would be nice as I like to lay in bed at night and watch the trainings to see if I missed anything, although some videos wont play.

it was a little slow on my phone I would much rather use my desktop its a lot faster and you can see everything a lot better!

I noticed when I had to open WA from my mobile it was kind a slow, but I am not using it very often on my mobile that only when I am not home.

My fingers are too big to type much on my phone!!!

some say cell phones and other small devices are a way of the future....however i prefer my lap top over small devices...

I'm accessing the site now from my phone, but I don't do that very often. I cannot imagine doing anything major with WA using my phone. I hate typing on it. An app would make it easier but how much work can you really do on a website using a phone? If you want that, go for it. I just can't see myself using it much.

I do very little on this site with my android. I can see how it would be beneficial for some of the tools. I can't stand typing on my phone, so not sure how much I would utilize more than chat or blog post reading

It would make me a little more productive, so I'm all for it!

I would love this because im always on the go! Good idea. Judy
