Finding Your Next Special Niche
Finding that one special niche for your new endeavor is like a treasure hunt. We learned in the beginning of the training here starting by choosing a niche.
I did try to think things through when I started and chose a niche that I thought would be great just for me. I know what Kyle teaches in the training early on. That there is no need to do a lot of research just pick something you like or enjoy.

i am glad I followed Kyle's advice because it got me moving forward in building my first website. If you are a beginner, find something you enjoy reading and writing about and stick with that niche through the training.
Before you can be a success you must train to be a success. Image if Nations recruited solders and then just sent them out to war.
Without training those soldiers would not last long.
Even if you think you picked the wrong niche once you have learned to build a website around a niche you can always research and build another website around another niche.
Your first niche will get you moving through the training and following through the training will get you moving towards building a successful website.
But what if you want to change niches? Well there are all kinds of niches to build a website around but the real key is to find one that you are willing to research and write about for the next 5 years!
Planning a journey that you will be on for 5 years might be hard to handle if you are looking to make a quick buck and then kick back and enjoy all the money rolling in.
The thing is that if you look at any successful website you will find it has been around for a few years and posts or blogs are added regularly.
Even those who live a lap-top lifestyle living it up wherever consistently add to their creation on a regular basis.
So please don't be deceived into thinking that you are going to do this for 6 months or a year and then relax and enjoy the fruit of your efforts. WA is not a get-rich-quick operation. As a matter of fact - any so called get-rich-quick idea is a scheme to get your money and run.
So now you want to build a new website around a new niche and you want to do it right.
Starting a new website is like planting a new flower or vegetable in your garden. You pick something you like and plant it, nourish it and in time it becomes a beautiful new addition.

Jay's training is the tops, yes it takes devoting some time starting off but it will work towards your benefit in the long run. We are so fortunate here at WA, when we want to go in a new direction there is plenty of help to begin anew.

Once you get to this point then the next step is to do your own research.
Look for something you enjoy doing with a plan to do it for at least 5 years.

Good afternoon Ray,
Thank you for this nice post. It is certainly best to build a good foundation made through learning and not giving up.
I have my sister sites for nearly 3 and a half years and know I can continue writing for many years to come.
Somewhere in the back of my head I play with the idea to have a third site promoting WA. I have learned a lot during my time here. I still need a lot of fine-tuning on the technical side but hope I will get better there too.

More importantly, you highlighted the fact that you can just get up and running with website and a niche to take you through the training. However, you can change to another niche and create another website if you wish after that.

Thanks Ray, for your post. Since coming back after my two month rest, I have decided to go with another niche and basically start all over again in my training. I haven't been very active because I was trying to decide what I would really like to do and I have decided on a travel website starting with my home state. I don't enjoy flying, so going by car is my commute. Arkansas is a beautiful state and I am looking forward to revisiting places I have been and writing about them, hopefully making my readers want to visit Arkansas.
