Feel like My first year in High School

I started with WA just over a year ago. All I had to start with was some hope that just possibly I could learn how to build a website and create a new source of income at the same time.

I admit I am a complex individual. I love my family, love working with my hands, and love learning new things add to this that I am an active pastor who finds purpose in helping others grow in their faith.

My goals were not very ambitious. I know it is possible to make a million dollars when you put in the effort, it that is your goal. But my goal was two-fold - First to learn website design so I could develop an active website that helped others live a wholesome spiritual life. Second to develop a website that would produce a decent stream of income to help financially in the coming years.

With WA I had faith that if I followed the program or training and did my very best this could work to reach both goals.

In the process of working through the training I created two websites.

  1. The first - tool-nut.com focused on DIY tools and projects for the persons who love to work with their hands. Most of my time has been spent on getting this site up and running. It is still not there yet but I feel confident that it will be successful.
  2. More recently I started developing walkinghope.com that focused on helping Christians grow in their faith. This is still in the early stages. I have great hope for this site too.

While both sites are indexed they are still unproductive. I firmly believe that both could be great sites if I stay on track. Have I made any money? No - to be honest I knew the road to success at WA would take time, but I am patiently hoping still.

Really, I feel like I just started my first year in High school. Everything is still brand new, I am trying to fit in and learn not to be such a cluz.

I have learned a lot in this past year. I am not ready to graduate yet but I feel like I can do this.

This I know - You cannot be successful if you do not learn to carve out time on a regular basis to devote to learning and improving your site. I know too that you have to stay with the training regularly, it is designed to help you, not hinder your progress.

What are my plans for the next 3 months? Finish the training. Add 2-3 posts to my site every week.

What are my plans for the next 6 months after? Enroll and complete the boot camp training, continuing to add 2-3 posts to my sites each week.

I admit that my plans are ambitious but I will give it my best anyway.

What would I tell the person who is just beginning? Set yourself a goal. Set aside as much time as you can spare-this is important. Stick with the training. And then go for it - I really do hope you pass me up on the way to success.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope something I said will encourage you to do better on your way to success. Please leave a comment or a suggestion, I need help to.

Life is not just about being the best you - It is also about helping others on your way.

So true need to make time for our site. I try to do something even if it's just something small every day.

Your right Mick. I believe that is the secret, be active.

Feel like my first year in High School is a good feeling, that means you are receptive and ready to learn, unlike those who think they know everything.

    Take care

    Hi Ray,
I've been here for a year and 4 months now and I still feel like I've just started school as well!
Congratulations on your sites. Keep adding content, and keep implementing the training.
