2 Years @ WA - What an Amazing Journey

Time seems to have flown in the past two years here at WA.

I started like any newbie, with high hopes and very little knowledge about building a website or making money with an online enterprise.

It didn't take but about two weeks for me to feel that this was way over my head and so for 3 months I did nothing, intending to quit. But I just could accept that I would be a failure at another new enterprise.

3 months later I got back started reading some posts and before I knew it I had a dream again. So I went from zero to full steam ahead. Of course I had to review some training and struggle along, but my mind was made up at that point, I would

After about a year I started seeing some sales. Not a lot but enough to know that I could do this.

I have had a lot of setbacks, started a new niche and as of the end of 2019 started the boot camp training.

What would I tell anyone who wants to give this business a go?

1. Plan to be in it for the long haul. Yes, some can see an income develop within a short time but for the majority it will take time to become an expert in your niche and see organic traffic build.
2. Follow the training in the order it is given, don't skip around. Do everything they ask and when you are stuck ask questions.
3. Make it a point to check in everyday if possible and read some blogs here. There is a ton of encouragement and inspiration to be had from others who are on a similar path.
4. Don't worry about your ranking here, it will improve naturally as you work within the community. Don't try to become an Ambassador as quickly as possible, let it happen naturally as you build your website and take part in helping others in the community.
5. Try to write something every day. Whether it be a blog on something you learned, responding to a blog here or writing for your website. Above all hone your skills as a communicator/writer.
6. If you are starting a new niche, make sure you have a target audience and a plan for your website.
7. Rest regularly. If you are on here 7 days a week every week you will burn out. Make sure you take time to rest your mind, and don't forget your family they need you too.

I know there is so much more that I would recommend but that would take a book. Now that is something that is stewing in the back of my mind.
