I Finally Got It!
So I have been struggling with my menu and categories. I was just not getting it. I had way too many categories added to my menu and struggling to figure out which post goes under what category.
It was such a mess and way too, busy so to speak.
Poor Partha . I think he was ready to pull his hair out trying to explain it to me in Live chat yesterday. And I am sure Joe was laughing in the background.
I honestly don't know why I found this so difficult. I have been struggling with this for awhile and then just quit trying to figure it out.
But the darn thing started bugging me again, so much that I couldn't sleep. So I was up at 12:30 am yesterday morning and started messing around with it again.
By 6:30 am I thought I had it figured out. So I jumped in live chat and started asking questions and explaining what I had done.
Well guess what? I was wrong. Oh so wrong. That's when Partha jumped in and TRIED to explain it to me. (like a zillion times) Of course I know I was overthinking the whole thing. Making it harder than it really was. (I tend to do that) But I was determined to get it it figured out.
They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Well I was determined to prove that saying wrong!!!!
It took awhile (I mean awhile) but I finally got it this morning (I think) :)
The morale of this story is DON'T GIVE UP!!!!
Walk away for awhile and then come back to it and get it DONE!! But don't give up. Quitters never win!
Partha, if you are reading this go check it out and PLEASE don't tell me I got it wrong again!!!!(I have 6 categories instead of the 5 you suggested)

Hi Tai, I had the same problem among others but like you said walk away and come back to it. We stress over stupid stuff. This business is so simple we as humans complicate things that don't need to be complicated. That is all of our problem.
I walked away and play around with it again and I got it. Here is a suggestion, write it down in journal, or notebook. At any rate that way you won't forget how to do it again.
That is what I do and it works. Take your time I understand it can overwhelm and get frustrated, but like you said
DON'T QUIT OR GIVE UP.
Then again that is a part of our DNA. If you have noticed it or thought about it. When things get hard we all tend to quit and give up. We all have to do better in that department that's for sure.

Hi-yes it is always better to walk away and then come back to it. If not you will drive yourself crazy.. I learned this the hard way:)

That is fantastic Tai, and it doesn't matter how long you took to get it, because clear navigation is really important . I am doing a happy dance because that means you can go forward and succeed

I know your pain. Most things I immediately grasp and can apply and then some things require a jackhammer and zoning permits to get through my thick skull.

Unfortunately, after spend 174 years trying to help Tai, Partha is no longer with us!!

A couple of things (obviously).
You've "accidentally" created a category called "Questions", which only contains the article, "Why is My Meatloaf Still Pink in the Middle?"
GET RID of the category labelled "Questions", as I say, I don't think you meant to add this, and it was probably accidental.
Plus, change the "Side Dish" category to "Side Dishes" (everything else is plural in your catogories, so don't have one that is singular).
Plus, be wary of whether something is considered "Vegetables" or "Side Dishes"
ALTHOUGH
There is nothing wrong with having multiple categories for the same article, e.g. some articles will fall under BOTH side dishes and vegetables.
Right, I'm going to disappear for 87.5 years, so we NEVER have to talk about this again!!! Hahahaha!!
