The LIKE button on comments in wa
Hey guys.....
I have my settings in my profile set so that if someone hits the LIKE button (shown below)
and DON'T FORGET about this LIKE BUTTON too
I will get an email so that i will know......there have been times that i have received a LIKE COMMENT notification by email and i have been so glad for it as I didn't get any other notification that his person had not only HIT the LIKE BUTTON but had also commented on a comment i had made to them :-)) so thank you lovely LIKE button.
I also LIKE to use this LIKE BUTTON too so that others will know i LIKE it, sometimes i only hit the LIKE button to show i have read another persons comment that may not require a written comment from me :-))
Do you HIT the LIKE button for people too ??? What are your thoughts on this ?

I totally agree...it's what I do and I also wrote a post about it a while back...great minds think alike!
Maybe some people did not understand or use facebook etc.
Love your post and a great reminder.
Sometimes I have even written notes back on more than 500 posts in a day.It can be a little difficult, but like Steve, I still get the job done.

I LIKE the LIKE button also. It lets me know that someone at least read what I wrote and a comment is even better. But I can see where this might get overused as just a polite gesture and not a true LIKE of content. Hopefully this does not happen often. So keep pressing that LIKE button if you truly like what you are reading or learning. Nice post. I LIKED it :)
I ditto both Tony and Steve!!! I think it gives the writer more encouragement to keep going:) Big humans need the same appreciation as little humans! Can you tell that I was a teacher for 20 years?!!! Lol....

I use the same process you just described. Not every post needs or wants a comment, but it is courteous to let the person know that you read the post. All good practice for writing and reading skills. Especially when like Jude you are looking at several thousand posts a day!
Yeah, but I have noticed that so many members dont use it ,............YET.........hopefully this will help them know it is nice to HIT the LIKE button :-)) lol

Yeah, I don't quite understand why people leave a comment to say they've liked something but don't hit the "Like This" button. I like your post Tanya so I've hit the "Like This" button :)
