It's on your profile's Account settings page. (#1 below)
At the bottom of the page, you can turn off all notifications or choose the ones that you'd like to receive. (#2 and 3 below)

Cheated. Changed themes and solved three problems in one. Thank you for trying to help. The Theme change was the easiest in the end. Now I know what functions I'm looking for and not just pretty.

I didn't have to delete stuff and start again. I listened twice to what you set out in your training and GOT IT, Thank you. I managed to tidy it up and it looks much better. Once I made the non-clickable headings that made it A+.

Yes. Go to Appearance > Widgets and you'll find a 'Search' widget you can add to your sidebar or other widget area.

I have just noticed that when I write a post here on WA and other WA's comment the number of comments is totalled. BUT I have replied to each comment and I notice the number of
Sylvia, You should always reply to comments you receive. Don't worry about the numbers increasing when you respond. It happens with all of us. It's just the way system works :)

My apologies for spelling your name incorrectly in my first comment to you.
I've done that twice today. Perhaps it's time for an eye check. As the ad says in NZ - Should have gone to Spec Savers - I've heard it said on UK TV programmes, so maybe it's not new to you! :)
