I’m writing a post on my blog about the importance of content, just for a little something extra, I want to link to a couple posts on here about the importance of content
I’d say use your Google-foo. Here’s what I found by searching for the importance of content for Google ranking:
https://www.searchenginejournal.com/seo-101/content-important-seo/
https://moz.com/blog/google-fresh-factor-new
I meant a blog post here on WA, but I should’ve been more specific in my question :) I want to be able to link back to Wealthy Affiliate
I do also appreciate the links you sent me, I may quote and link to those for some added spice haha
Greetings to you
Log in here on the left side of your profile
then click the website now get the sitecontent there
you can write your own content
Sorry I shouldve elaborated. I’m looking for a blog post someone on WA wrote that I can link to my website

Looks like you got some links, but you can also use the search bar up top to find content that you need.

A friend of mine suggested Yoast instead of All In One SEO. It seems a little more complicated and I’m not sure how it works with the guidelines of not saturating your ar
Lots of people use it, but one reason I do not use it is because it's easy to get caught up trying to aim for their SEO metrics. A post that isn't 100% looks like it "wont' rank", and a post that is 100% sounds like it's guaranteed to rank.
In reality, there are a lot more factors at play, and aiming for 100% on YOAST SEO metrics isn't' really that helpful (in my opinion).
Very good point, that would drive me mad. I enjoy writing so I just want to put quality into what I write, and I’m sure it will pay off
Hey Sidney,
I used Yoast for a while and can honestly say it is great plugin.
However, I must advice you it will drive you crazy because in order to get 100% green lights in all areas of your article is difficult. Over all I recommend this plugin having used it for over 4 years.
Do you suggest just trying your best, and not aiming for 100% each time, or is it still best to get 100%
I personally want to be myself and tell the story the way I want to tell it. People relate to people and as long as you have your keywords with approx. density 2% or so, provide quality valuable content that people can use.
I am an old SEO guy so, one thing I learned is to play by Google's rules and I have read many of their requirements in terms of what they want out of your website and content.
Even though I love the Plugin because I love SEO, I'd say that All in One SEO plugin does the job without you spending literally hours trying to get 100%.
What I like is, that you have a template through WA when your articles are written using their platform. It helps you write an article that has the proper amount of Head-Tags meaning the H1, H2, H3 tags and pushes you to write articles of 1,000 words or more.
In my research done through the years and reading what Google has said, it is clear that they want high value, high quality and has substance to it to provide solutions to the searches done by browsers/people and articles that had more than 2,000 words with lots of graphics, videos, links to high quality sites like Kyle described in one of his trainings get more traffic and visitors than websites that have less than 1,000 words in their content.
I went off on a tangent but this is how i process this information. What I recommend is to get familiar with the rules by searching Google and learn as much as possible to continue to grow your business.
Happy New Years,

Hi Sydney,
I'm using Yoast and I think that it is more powerful than All In One SEO. As smartketeer said, below each post you will find a lot of usefull SEO tips.
If you have got problem with settings I'd reccommeend following article:

Hi Sydney,
I'm using YOATS and I think that is more user friendly than other SEO plugins
Regarding your question ... In the post editor window you'll have YOAST panel (under your post) and among other things, the plugin will tell you the exact keyword density of your article in any given moment. Which will help you to use enough but not too much keywords.
my only experience with Yoast was not good, unfortunately. It manipulated my menus and I have no idea how. I use all in one SEO, it seems to work great.

When you sign up for an affiliate program, it sometimes asks for a website. Is it asking for the website you’ll use to promote it? Or is it asking for your personal/portf
They are asking for the website you'll use to promote their products, i.e. your website that you are building here in WA.
I do see that you are still on a starter membership, so it's probably a little early to be signing up for affiliate programs. Make sure you have your website built and some content on your page before applying to affiliate programs.
I’ve been part of some for a few months now using a diff avenue of traffic and been doing ok. When I’ve applied I always just use my personal website on the apps. This is just the first time I’ve used a “blog” for traffic, so I wasn’t sure if I needed to use that for the apps. Thanks for looking out :) also I’ll be signing up for premium by the end of the day. Just wanted to check it out for a bit beforehand, and so far I love it!
Awesome! Sounds like you are doing great working through the training so far Sydney. Keep up the good work!
