is there. a way to build a wordpress site from my smartphone?

I do certain stuff on the go with my phone this might be of interest to you

https://youtu.be/zMTKy4LwQgo

I was watching this the other day....amazing.

it is when I go away use the tablet for updates etc so useful to be able to do if from even a smartphone

Never thought of trying that! I respond to comments from my smartphone but do not use it for working on my site. It seems it would be way more time consuming to do the things you need to do to get pages ranking: "Jays 10 step process on getting content to rank" That is Jay, aka magistudios.

you could easily build the website, but then what about writing out content? That would prove to be a significant challenge!

The predictive text function could me a total nightmare!

Writing out content works almost the best for me!

It's menus and plugins where I'm more dependent on the laptop.....

Think there's a way to shut it off, dont remember exactly where, though.....

You can build a website; however, plugins, etc. may prove to be a problem. I noticed a few 'Google search' entries using the term 'building a website from a smartphone'...interesting read.

This would depend on the computerized sophistication of your smart phone. There are different models and you would have to check the capabilities of each and any applicable plugins. Security considerations should also be taken into account.

I built most of my site from my smartphone. There's a couple things you need a computer to do. Like arranging your menu items. Don't use an iphone though, so maybe it would work better than my droid.

There is a wordpress App..not sure bout the rest. I've written a quick post or replied to comments but not actually done much else...not sure it would be such a good idea.

WA Affiliate Program
Updated

to many clicks not enough sign ups why?

If you are looking for affiliates that will support your niche and provide income to your site I would suggest doing a search on Google for "your niche" affiliates. In other words, suppose your niche was mattresses; search for "mattress affiliates". You will be amazed at the opportunities that come up.

they say the average person looks around 7 times before they commit to anything, wondered if this can be of help to you

Hi Shawn are you talking about WA sign ups. If this whole internet thing was easy then everyone would be doing it. Probably an answer on it's self.

I think most of them require a certain amount of traffics per month before they qualify us as their affiliate partners. I'm lucky that Amazon & Walmart never put that criteria as one of the qualification benchmark. Nevertheless, keep trying, there must be some other alternative companies who would accept you.
Good luck!
Vic

I always ask the companies I like and have used their products if they have an affiliate program. Many times they do. It is then easy to promote because you are familiar with the product. I have applied for one today. It is not in my niche but it is something many people can use, affordable and good quality. I am excited about the possibilities.
I am with CJ convergent (Commision Junction) they handle many companies as well as pay per call. The few that I applied for turned me down s thay are particula. Manu affiliates have had success with them so I would encourage you to check it out,

Marty

Have you found a way to increase your conversion rate?

I am encouraged as I have some in the free trial phase. I am working to change the landing page and squeeze pages to keep visitors interested. I have heat maps and indicatores as to how far the visitors are staying with the content. Today I have made some changes to the content to try to keep engagement.............Marty

Take most any business name and type in affiliate after it and affiliate links and information should come up.
