WA More Supportive Than Real Life

Last Update: May 04, 2018

Have any of you noticed that the WA community can be even more supportive than the people in our everyday lives sometimes? Things can be more fair here too. When we get a comment on our sites we know it is nice and proper to leave one in return. We help each other out. That is just how it works here 99% of the time.

In real life we are really lucky to have just a few people who understand and support us. Most people in our real lives are just too busy to return a favor, wish someone a happy birthday anywhere other than Facebook or give each other a real (gasp!) gift or card! People are all busy with their own lives and don't have time or care to know about ours.

This is just one of the many reasons we are so lucky to have WA! It is truly a special place!

The community here is just above and beyond anything else out there online. You can get help and support from practically anyone here and it just makes you believe that you can definitely succeed here which is a plus. I don't know where I'd be without the helpful community we have here at WA.

Aaaw, I thought I commented on this post yesterday. Sorry, Jessica. Must have been offline.... I agree wholeheartedly, this community is awesome! Also, we're all in this together so we really understand each others trials and tribulations and therefore can really rejoice in everyone's successes.
Thank you for the wonderful comment you left on one of my sites yesterday. I will return the favour ASAP.

I agree with you all the way you are absolutely right about people in the real world just always to busy to acknowledge us in a way that they should. WA acknowledge us always no matter what the case is or how busy someone they always take time out to help one another.

I have noticed this a lot and it is one of the reasons I love it here so much. Thank you so much

I'm fortunate enough to have a group of people in my life that are very supportive.

Although I love this community, Jessica there's a big difference from people on this platform - many of whom I will never be able to look in their eye - versus people I can sit down with, talk with, and read their body language.

I think for the most part, the majority of us put our best foot forward on this platform, so it's easy to feel like this is a warm environment.

But I agree that Wealthy Affiliate is truly a special place.

My, my, Jessica,

There is absolutely nothing for me to add here, lol. You’ve said it all.

Thanks my friend,

100% true although I do like to think of WA as part of my real life LOL.

Very true Jessica!
I believe it is because we are among likeminded people and once having experienced the friendly athmosphere here at WA we just want to give something back, showing gratefulness and cheering each other on.

It's true. I always know I can help and support here from people who genuinely want to pay it forward. I think it helps that we all want to succeed and see everyone else on here succeed. A common purpose bonds people.

Facebook is just annoying these days.

You're so right! I love connecting with WA - like-minded in our pursuit of financial independence!

That is so true. I sometimes feel sad for people who don't trust WA enough to join. There are so many people out there who could literally change their lives with Wealthy Affiliate!

Sometimes I wonder why there is so much unfriendliness on our own doorstep when we can be friendly and kind to people all over the world.

That’s well said Jessica

Very true Jessica, which is one of the reasons we love WA.
But if your statement is true, then isn't "living inside a WA vacuum" in a way fooling ourselves?

Interesting point Kaju!
We must try to share our positive feelings with our people in "real" life too. With a smile we can change so much in our lives around us. We must try to be role models on the internet as in the real world.

Wouldn't that be something to strive for?

That's very true Jessica. WA is a real helping community unlike our own setup whereby people won't get time at all.

You are so right .wa is a great example for the world to follow.

Yes, I totally agree with you, Jessica! Most of the time people bend over backwards to help and post positive feedback. The positive surely overpowers the negative here! Great post! I love reading posts like this! xoxo

Definitely. I sometimes feel like a loner because I am different from my family/friends in terms of how I view life, what I want/do in my life, certain other things that go against my family's beliefs...

I have a few friends who support me in one thing but don't in another, or another friend who supports in online ventures but I don't tell her about that "other thing" just yet.

As for family - man how many battles I had with my parents. I think they will accept what I do when they see real consistent cash flow, not like occasional here and there commissions. Anyway, it doesn't matter, I know what I want to do (or at least what I DONT want to do).

And thats why I love WA - there is this whole community behind to support us.

Hi Jessica. There is an expression which I think refers to WA which is "birds of a feather, flock together", meaning that like-minded people will find each other! I think this has been my experience at WA and one of the reasons why I love it here. What I find here are people who genuinely are interested in your success and who are willing to help you out instead of pull you down.
'Real life' as you call it, is full of the naysayers, negativity and people who want you to do what they want you to do. That's fine because the contrast there serves only to strengthen my resolve to follow my own path, but it is truly refreshing to come here and find the positive people and advice that makes the difference.
All the best and thank you for sharing.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Gail

Hi Jessica!

I totally agree...my WA friends have become very dear to me recently for many reasons!

In fact one has adopted me she says...how lovely to be so cared for without paperwork or lawyers etc!

Whenever I see your beautiful Profile Picture of your smiling face it makes me happy! I think of Alaska and cats!!!

So great to read this post!

Thank you Jessica!

I have met some really great people on here and have made a really good friend. We have never met, and live on opposite sides of the world but we always check in with the other to see how life is going. For us it isn't just about the WA experience - we are supporting each other through other things. I agree this is such a welcoming and supportive place.

Hi Megan!
What heart-warming words! I bet Kyle & Carson & all of the WA Team feel so rewarded by this community of supportive and special people! Happy for you that you've made a special friend here! That is the true "Wealth" of Wealthy Affiliate, in my humble opinion!
