Definitely. I sometimes feel like a loner because I am different from my family/friends in terms of how I view life, what I want/do in my life, certain other things that go against my family's beliefs...

I have a few friends who support me in one thing but don't in another, or another friend who supports in online ventures but I don't tell her about that "other thing" just yet.

As for family - man how many battles I had with my parents. I think they will accept what I do when they see real consistent cash flow, not like occasional here and there commissions. Anyway, it doesn't matter, I know what I want to do (or at least what I DONT want to do).

And thats why I love WA - there is this whole community behind to support us.

Hi Jessica. There is an expression which I think refers to WA which is "birds of a feather, flock together", meaning that like-minded people will find each other! I think this has been my experience at WA and one of the reasons why I love it here. What I find here are people who genuinely are interested in your success and who are willing to help you out instead of pull you down.
'Real life' as you call it, is full of the naysayers, negativity and people who want you to do what they want you to do. That's fine because the contrast there serves only to strengthen my resolve to follow my own path, but it is truly refreshing to come here and find the positive people and advice that makes the difference.

I totally agree...my WA friends have become very dear to me recently for many reasons!

In fact one has adopted me she says...how lovely to be so cared for without paperwork or lawyers etc!

Whenever I see your beautiful Profile Picture of your smiling face it makes me happy! I think of Alaska and cats!!!

I have met some really great people on here and have made a really good friend. We have never met, and live on opposite sides of the world but we always check in with the other to see how life is going. For us it isn't just about the WA experience - we are supporting each other through other things. I agree this is such a welcoming and supportive place.
