Someone copied my entire post!

I just realized I may need to submit reports to Yahoo and Bing since the site that stole my content has used it to get to #1 on those search engines. I don't see that site on Google yet but I have submitted the form to Google to get the post removed. She must have stolen my content recently however since I just added that post a few days ago.
I just checked the rank of my newest post and wondered what the website was in the number one ranking position (mine is currently #2 on Yahoo and Bing for this term). I clicked on the site and see they have copied my entire post! The headings are even the same. Every word of my post is copied! This brand new post of mine is #2 while the site blatently copying me is #1!!! They took off my name but kept my affilate disclaimer at the bottom of the post with my website name! They put in all their own links into the middle of my text! They took out all of my links and just added their own!
I have just tried to contact the site owner. I searched here and found someone else who had the same problem and saw Kyle's response with the link to submit the issue to Google so they can investigate and take the copied content (or the whole website) down.
I have submitted the form. This site has TONS of posts and I strongly suspect this is like Kyle mentioned where a site "scrapes" content from other people's pages.
I guess it isn't the end of the wold, but I was really paniced when I first found it. I was mad, felt like I had been robbed and was just totally aggrevated! Kyle said in the other post that this happens all the time so I guess it isn't worthy of panic.

Yes, I keep trying to tell myself that. It seems so sleezy to copy someone's post keeping even the headings, take out their link, put in your own links and post it! They set up a menu with shortcuts to each section of my post with links!!!
someone did that to me with my sfi review a few years ago this guy actually was able to hack into my word press and delete my content. he literally had control of my website for a day or 2. I am still going through my content to make sure he didn't replace my links with his. There is always someone looking for the easy way.
Wow! That sounds horrible. I am glad my situation isn't that bad. I was looking through dozens of other posts on this website to see if she stole anything else from me!

I always look at the positive side of things. You must be doing something right if someone is trying to copy your stuff (and taking first because of it)!
In all seriousness though, I do feel sorry for you and what's happening, and hope that Google can help you get these 'scrapers' off of the internet.
Yes, once I calmed down I thought well I guess I am doing something right. Being copied still feels trashy though :)
Wow! I get so discouraged when I hear about stuff like this. I just want to reach out and wrap my hands around the throat of dishonest people. We work so very hard on our content and then to have some scurrilous dog come along and steal it! Hope you get this resolved soon. And may a hex be upon whoever it was that ripped you off.
Thank you! It is really upsetting since it feels like there is nothing you can do! I am glad I saw the post where Kyle explained this happens often and gave the link to report it Google. I guess they may shut down the site or at least remove the post.

Thanks...so frustrating. It is a brand new post and they swooped it right up and copied it and went straight to #1 with it! Uggggg.
I have submitted the forms to Google and Bing to get the post on the other site taken down. If it is bad enough they can shut down the entire website. I suspect this person's whole site is copied content since there were so many posts.

Thanks. I had trouble with the Yahoo form but just submitted the one on Bing as well. It was easy. Another element of this business to keep in mind!!!
Hmmmm.... Jessica, will you please post (or make another post / training) of all the different links.... That way, if somebody find this post later, they will have all the links in one place? That will be most helpful, Jessica!

Sure, I understand that. My thoughts were more that once you are familiar with the process and know what needs to be done, to post the links, so that if anybody else needs it later, it is all together and in one place.
