Happy Tuesday everyone,

I am so happy to report I have been approved for more affiliates, updated more of my posts with new affiliate links and discovered that I still have many featured snippets on the Bing search results!

After 8 months barely touching my first website (I went months and didn't even look at it), I am still ranked in position zero on Bing for many keywords! How amazing is that? It is not really amazing but a testimate to the great training we get here at WA! With no activity, no publishing, no advertising and no editing, my posts can still dominate the search results outranking Amazon, Jackson Galaxy, PetCo, PetSmart and every other pet site.

This is because I use long tail keywords as taught here. I am extremely careful choosing keywords and it pays off. Below are some of the featured snippets I have. The purpose of showing this list is to illustrate the power of long tail keywords. The longer the keyword (phrase), the more potential search terms it contains and the most fishing lines you have in the water to catch customers.

I do NOT list all of these on my site. I only list the main long tail keyword. The search engines are smart enough to show my post to people searching for variations on that phrase.

Here are the keywords that show my featured snippets on Bing right now:

(Note I do not have the featured snippets "Jackson Galaxy Safe Space for Cat" or "Jackson Galaxy Safe Space for Cats", those are both from Amazon right now. There are also many others that go to Chewy, Jackson Galaxy's own site etc.

I also have "Jackson Galaxy Safe Space Drops"

(I do not have "Jackson Galaxy Safe Space")

I have "Jackson Galaxy Cat Drops" as well as "Jackson Galaxy Solutions For Cat Drops" which are for a different post about his line of drops in general. (I don't have the same phrase without the word "For" however.

More featured snippets from my site on Bing include, "Jackson Galaxy Solutions Safe Space For Cat Drop" and "Jackson Galaxy Solutions Safe Space For Cats Drops"

There are more such as "Apple Cider Vinegar For Upper Respiratory Infection in Cats", "Apple Cider Vinegar for Respiratory Infection in Cats"

Some of these may sound like low traffic search terms but this is low hanging fruit. If I can totally dominate these keywords I can gaurantee a large share of the search traffic they get. For awhile my post for cats, "Apple Cider Vinegar for Upper Respiratory Infection in Cats" got a ton of traffic because it was also the top ranked post for the term without the word "cats". So people searching for use on themselves stumbled on my post accidentally.

(Note: I do not advocate making your pet ingest apple cider vinegar by putting it in their water since you should not do anything to deter drinking water. I am also not a vet as stated on my site). My vet approves of the method I use however and it is the only thing that works for my boy. I do not have an active affiliate link on that site making me any commissions so I am not fishing for clicks here. I still have Amazon links and those don't make me anything.

If you use Jaaxy here and find great long tail keywords you might just strike gold in search traffic. That is how my first website is still chugging along (with only 30 visitors per day instead of several hundred now) even without any help for so long. The SEO is all you need to get traffic if you do it well.

I have numerous posts in the top 5 on Google, Bing, Yahoo and more. I do not rely on social media, advertising or anything other than great search engine optimisation as taught here at WA.
