Put Work in To Go to Auto Pilot on Sites
I wanted to work on my websites this weekend. I thought I would have time. That did not happen. Now it is time to go to bed and get up for work Monday morning.
I just checked my Google Analytics and lo and behold, someone was on my site as I was looking. I had a few dozen visitors today which isn't a ton but great consdering I have not added anything to my sites in over a week and have not even looked at my sites all weekend.
If you were to start up a normal business you would not be able to have customers without being there to have your business open. Eventually you could hire staff to run your business for you so you could still make money while not being physically present. It could take years to get to the point you could afford to hire staff however! For those first years, you would have to be the one there (or wrangle family to help) every day you wanted the doors of your business to be open! There are exceptions to this such as real estate which can also make money when you are not physically present every day. This is why I am getting into both web business and real estate!
In order to make this work, you have to put a lot of time and work into your sites. It may take weeks, months or years of work in order to be able to get enough traffic to continue making money even when you are not active for a few days. I am still not quite at that point. I may make a bit on Amazon but I may not. It is still hit and miss. I need to add more content and get more traffic in order to make sales every day. I know exactly what I have to do however. I can see it working right before my eyes. Someday it will all be worth it. All these years of sloooowly building up my sites will bring me proft for many more years to come.
Onward and Upward,
Jessica
