Makes my heart happy! Hurricane post for pets found!
I have been getting a good amount of organic search traffic today. I am most happy to see someone searched for this phrase to find my post:
"pets available for adoption in wa state from Harvey"
This is not the first one! I have had a fair bit of organic search traffic with search terms like this! It makes me so happy to think of someone adopting a pet from the hurricane zone!!!!!
It also shows how this all works. I don't have that exact keyword phrase anywhere in my post of course...but someone still found my post by searching for it!
Using good keywords with good content and getting it ranked in the search engines will allow people to find your posts with many (I don't know if hundreds or thousands is the right word to use here) different search terms.
So, follow the steps, do the work, write the content, promote your posts (ask for comments and/or post to social media). I feel comments work better than social media for me because they boost SEO rank more.

That really makes me happy too! I was glad to see that they let pets go into the shelter with their "peeps". It seems like they wouldn't let pets into the shelter before so some people just stuck it out because of their pets.
I'm glad they are letting them in now.
