Made Great Progress While Home Sick
I decided I had to make my sick day productive. I have a cold and stayed home from work. I was finally able to push through my difficulties to create a new post on my new site. I have been thinking about it and researching for days.
I have been struggling to make sure I give accurate information. It feels like a lot of pressure to write about human health issues and offer solutions. I decided to break the topic down into multiple posts on causes, symptoms and supplements after doing a ton of keyword research. I could go a million directions on these posts and let the keyword tool guide me. I found decent keywords (I am really picky and don't use mediocre ones) but didn't find great ones until today. Once I found some really great ones, I went ahead and started three posts with just the titles of each one and saved them as drafts.
I proceeded to write the first one today and I now have my first post with affiliate links on my new site! I am so happy. This feels like a major step and my second website is now truly launched!!
I also came up with over 50 post topics for this site while in the shower a few days ago. So, I will not be running out of content anytime soon! If each post takes me a whole day I will be in trouble though! Hopefully it will speed up over time and the fact I have a head cold and my nose is dripping couldn't have helped! I have noticed this site will definitely be a little slower to populate than my cat site in terms of the amount of research required for each post! However, on the other hand, I have more post ideas right out of the gate than I have total posts on my first site! I don't have to go out and buy products for any of these 50 posts either. They will all be based on products or concepts I am already familiar with.
I hope you are all doing well on your sites too!
