Yay! I just now reached 450 approved comments on my site! Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it and I have learned more in researching to answer your questions as well!
I believe this is the way to make a website a success!
- Offer good, valuable information on a subject you are passionate about.
- Use great keywords so people can find your posts.
- Request comments of high quality (don't pay for comments or other shady tactics).
- Engage with your readers.
- Be willing to learn more and answer questions.
- Leave great comments on other's sites.
- Be consistent and keep adding content!
This will raise your Google rank and help you succeed on many levels.

It is pretty time consuming if they are detailed comments with questions you have to research, I think it is worth it though!
A tip however, try to connect with other WA members you know and trust in order to get really good quality comments and avoid wasting time with all the "Great info" type comments that don't do us much good.
I have just discovered this trick and it really helps!
That's an awesome number of comments and you are right, your replies are as important as the comments themselves.

That's great Jessica, thanks for the tips.
I always try to leave relevant comments on other people's posts only to get, "Good common sense information here, thank you" comment in return. At times I get a feedback when I specifically asked for a comment.
That's why I almost want to give up using the site comment platform and trading comments.
Anyway, I guess I'm just gonna have to keep writing good contents.
I understand! I get those sometimes too and it makes me want to stop pursuing comments all together.
