Got some sales! Yay!
It has been a bit slow lately for sales. Things were going really well a few months ago but dropped back to a crawl. It is always when I least expect it that I finally get some! I got two yesterday on Amazon. They are small but they make me feel better.

Don't give up, you may not have a ton of traffic but if you have a product people need you can still get sales.

I did not get regular sales yet though. Those come and go still. I go for periods with no sales at all. I need to put more time in to get regular sales all the time. The more active I am the better I do.
Well that is a bit hard to say since it varies depending on what your niche is and how competitive it is. In a very competitive niche you may need to spend more time to compete. You also need to put in more time at the beginning to build up a base of content. Once you are up and running you can back off a bit.
I do well when I am consistent with adding at least 1 new post every week to my site, and requesting site comments. It would be better if I did 2 or 3 posts per week. When I go for weeks without adding any new posts, my traffic goes down considerably.
I also spend some time on social media but I have learned the content needs to be the focus not social media. It is easy to spend a ton of time on social media and get absolutely nothing from it.
I'm glad to hear you got those two sales. I'm SOOOO frustrated as it just seems I can't make a penny. I'm spending money all the time and I make nothing in return. Got any tips for a "loser?"
What are you spending money on? Do you mean in regular life or for your business? I don't recommend focusing on paid advertising etc. I only focus on organic traffic. I do a little with social media but I don't think I get any sales from it now. All my sales come from organic searches or other WA members. I don't ask any WA members for sales of course, we cannot do that but they are interested in the products I review.
I have never spent a penny for anything other than the WA membership and my website domain. That is it.

I have found that requesting comments on my website posts from WA members really helps boost my post ranking. This is because the comments are adding length to the posts which Google likes as well as bringing traffic to your site. The constant activity is good for Google (and other search engine) ranking also.
You have only been here a few months. You don't have anything to feel bad about. It takes time.
That's a milestone move Jessica. No matter how little they may seem, it's a great motivation to me too.
Thanks, they aren't coming in as fast as they were a few months ago, but some is a lot better than none! I know if I focus and keep adding content and stay active it always picks up. This winter when it is cold and dark it will be easier to spend more time online!
I won't give up. I wasn't going to. But I was feeling a bit...humbled. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement and congratulations. Keep moving up.

I have gone months with no sales at all and then sometimes I get lucky for a while and get some every few days. You just never know!
