Amazon Sales Are a Beautiful Thing
Isn't this a pretty sight? My Amazon clicks and sales for the last 30 days:
This is only $24.13 but hey, that's not bad! I also have $47.50 coming from WA! Maybe sometime soon I can finally get some sales on another affiliate besides Amazon too. Who knows. I know at least some of these sales are to WA members! Thank you! This is the best month I have had in a long time! It really helps me stay motivated to see sales even if they don't amount to a lot yet.
Like SO many people here have said, I would have been much more consistant early on if I had KNOWN this would work. I KNOW it works now. It is all a matter of how much time I put in and how consistant I am. If I add content consistantly, I get traffic and sales.
Of course, that is not all you have to do. You also have to pick a good niche, have a good website, write high quality content using great keywords and a few other things along the way. It helps to get comments, use good images, have a non-cluttered website that isn't too "salesy" and keep learning new skills, tips and concepts here at WA.
I could be making so much more at this point if I had been consistant. That is my own fault so I am not complaining. I had other things to focus on like my regular job, master's degree, family, health, buying a property, becoming a landlord and more! So, considering all that, I am thrilled with this outcome! I now know what I need to do. It is a matter of "Wash and Repeat", and keep learning along the way!

Just wonder- has it become better since you added a separate products page on your site? Looks like it should be.:)
No, I don't think so Vera. My traffic was way down for a while after that. It didn't come back up until I added more posts again. It helped a little but no more than any other single post.
That is an interesting question though. Hopefully that page will do well someday too.

I don't think traffic and that page are connected directly.It's all a matter of frequent quality posting, I guess. But such a page seems a convenient way to make orders from:))
It is convenient but most of my searchers are looking for a specific product or solution to a problem. Because there are so many products on that page I don't know if it will ever rank well for the individual product names. It is just a matter of people finding it.
I can't complain though! As long as I am getting traffic and sales I don't care which page or post they come from!
Yep... You can always do both. Reviewing the product you can say "Go for more to my full products page". That's what I am planning to do, too.
Sure you can't complain. You hard work already pays off.

I just looked and the review page is ranked #1! Yay!
I am ranked #1 for other variations of my title for this post I thought was just at #2 also! I will do another WA post about that tomorrow showing how we can rank on different variations of the same long tail keyword using shorter versions.
My new site is stalled since I have been adding posts to my first site. I have a post partly done for the new site though! Hopefully I can get it finished this weekend. Thanks for asking!
Tis, indeed a beautiful thing Jessica, thank you for sharing the motivation. Getting the taste of it certainly builds the anticipation. I guess that we all go through a similar process one way and another.
Not sure how many times I have heard that saying if only I knew back then what I know how things would be different. One of the messages that are broadcast loud and clear is that being consistent and also to follow the training I guess some of us have poor hearing or something.

Yes! I agree! It gets SO discouraging, we all (or I do at least) question ourselves at times and wonder "Am I just wasting my time?", "Is this a huge waste of time?". If we had a crystal ball to see the future and see that is will work, it would be so much easier to keep going when we have no traffic and no sales.
Well...Alex... Our ancient brain is a very cunning part of brain. Its function is to survive. And if there is no danger of death- why bother?...We need to learn to use our advanced parts of brain to reach success.I am serious. It's brain science...:))
