Accidentally found my new WA post today on Google! My new direction.
I was just on Google searching for information on zinc and bursitis and the post I wrote here on WA just this morning was on the first page of the Google search results!! I literally just stumbled upon it and was so surprised! What a cool shock!
I searched for Zicam and bursitis and there it was! Wow! I need to get on my health niche after all I guess. Zinc like magnesium and the other minerals is key to many body processes. Zinc deficiency can lead to immune weakness as well as inflammation and specifically tendinitis and bursitis. I have skirted around zinc for years and now I am seeing I really need to focus on it. I see it also helps with mental conditions such as depression, ADD, ADHD, etc. Hmmm, apparently it is similar to the lithium orotate I am familiar with and it's miraculous affects for depression, bipolar disorder and PTSD. I do not take it but my husband does and it has been miraculous.
Zinc is supposedly a treatment for high blood pressure. I have not learned about this yet but it is interesting as that is also what magnesium does. I can attest to this personally. I had pre-hypertension until I took a lot of magnesium. Now my blood pressure is great. My husband had dangerously high blood pressure which was cured by magnesium as well.
I have always shied away from the human health niche due to the need for the "I am not a doctor" disclosures. I can't ignore the fact that these supplements have helped me, my friends, co-workers and family greatly and so many others. My Dad was able to stop taking nitroglycerin for heart arrhythmia when he took magnesium. My husband can function with PTSD and depression with lithium orotate. I can walk and function and keep my job with magnesium, Vit D and B vitamins. I avoided having my thyroid removed by understanding more about thyroid conditions related to mineral imbalance and infection. Taking iodine to fight back against fluoride in the water supply allowed me to keep my thyroid.
Nutrient deficiency is the norm in the U.S. now and I believe it is causing heart disease (imbalance of magnesium to calcium), depression, cancer and most of the common conditions that are killing us and making our lives painful.
I can't ignore the years of research I have put into this. Every day for years I looked for the causes and solutions to these conditions for myself and others. I am certainly not the picture of health and some of you may be wondering how I can claim to have any cures when I have been sick myself. Well, the difference is that I have treated myself and been able to keep my job, still walk, not be in a wheelchair, still have some semblance of a normal life. I literally could not even think and could hardly walk and cried every day not knowing how I would ever keep my job when this started. I couldn't imagine how my life would go when I was in constant pain while still in my early 30's. I was terrified I had cancer when they found abnormal cells in my thyroid...technically I think I did. They were not the common type, they were more rare and dangerous.
In the midst of all this I also learned about food allergies, hormonal disruption from pesticides, plastics and so many chemicals and endocrine disruption in our environment through my own research as well as graduate school courses such as Environmental Risk Assessment.
So, I have found treatments that have been revolutionary for me and for those I love. I want to share this information to help others that are suffering. I need to build by nutrient deficiency website.
I just need the time to do it!!
Onward and upward people!
Jessica

Wow, Jessica. You have walked a fascinating path. I agree... don't shy away from the health niche a minute longer, its clearly a passion of yours and you have so much knowledge. Go for it.
The time challenge... that's a tricky one... all I can suggest is take it slow. One post at a time. :)

Yes, I have felt for quite some time (years now) that my experiences would allow me to spend the rest of my life helping others with similar problems. That was the reason I wanted to start a website in the first place.
Thank you for your support Barb.
Good afternoon Jessica,
Mother nature provides for our needs.
We just have to keep an open mind.

Good Morning Jessica,

Thanks Vera...I was on a roll! It is such a fascinating field to me. You could study it for a lifetime and still have so much to learn. So many traditional cures and knowledge around the world about different plants and substances that cure disease!! Like the bay leaves!
Yes, totally understand, Jessica. I can relate.I do believe in natural remedies for our body..:))
Yes, and also our brain....Everything's inside- both our remedy and our calamities, outside some serious cases of illness of course... But with modern people, most sicknesses are somatic or kitchen-obtained, so to say.:)
You got, Jessica!
Some people, can make themselves, sick unconsciously!
Some, also, also feed on it attention! Bad or good, just like gimme!!
Barb
Some make themselves consciously! They get benefits from it....Mostly, it's unconscious though of course...:)
