A wonderful night of fireworks with friends.
We went to see some friends who live nearby tonight since they invited us over to watch the 4th of July fireworks from their house. This was very handy since cars can't all fit in the parking lots and line the streets for blocks to watch the show put on by the city.
People pull out camp chairs and sit on the sidewalk/bikepath to watch.
It was nice to see them and their kids who have grown up so much I hardly recognize them. It will be nice to be living closer now so we can see them more often. The fireworks started at midnight (since this is Alaska it still wasn't dark out) and it was cloudy so it was dark enough that we could see the colors.
We sat around a fire in their yard all night talking afterward. We hadn't done that in years but ended up staying there until 4:30 am...it was almost daylight again.

Great to see you my friend. I was thinking about you the other day.
I had to give the outdoor Rose away to a client. It was dying inside he apartment. Dah, it's an outside plant, lol! Oh well, I tried.
Now it's planted in a beautiful yard with other flowers.
Take care and will talk soon.
