Question what is the link for, and how do you use it on the (reply/message board)?
You mean the prompt that asks You to answer if this is a question or not when You add a question-mark to Your comments?
Or do You refer to the section on your profile "Questions"?
Which link are you referring to? Your Affiliate Link? That is used off-site to recruit people to sign up for WA.
As in this reply box I'm writing on now there is a paper clip looking gadget toward the bottom of the page possible a link?
That is if you want to add an attachment to the comment. It is not a link. A paperclip is the universal symbol for attachment, a chainlink is the universal symbol for a link.

If you're referring to the paper clip icon at the bottom left when you reply to a comment, it's so you can add an image.
