I agree with PJ and dstaple.
And I have visit your website. This is a VERY VERY VERY nice website with good quality content. Many hours worked on it for sure.

But I didn't find any call of action like Click here to get this Great Nail Clipper, To be honest I didn't find the way to buy it from you :P I am the worst customer either :) Never forget call of action and link in the text (ex: on nail clipper) to monetize but you must have traffic first and you will get it soon, keep going. Best Regards, Jeff

Thank you

Wow! I agree with Pj below and I cannot think of anything else to add. Well said Pj. A website is like a newborn baby; after she is born, it then takes neutering and love and sometimes loss of sleep; LOL! The site evolves as you make it grow and guide it along the way. If you do it right, she becomes a successful adult that can stand and perform on her own. Don't be discouraged, you are on the right track. Dave.

Thank you for your advice.

Okay Suzanne, I checked out your website. Very nice, but here's the issue..... Keywords....

While Pomeranians are a commonly loved breed, the only keyword I can determine as you primary on your home page is "Pomeranian". This is quite broad and the competition is fierce.

Now, onto your pages (secondary keywords):
Health
Pet Store
Etc.

Again, lots of traffic available, but a wee bit vague.

I would narrow down the focus a bit. Tweak your primary page's keyword to something a bit more specific. Configure the keywords on the pages with solid secondary keywords and build some posts with more secondary keywords.

You may want to review these links for a refresher/help: That being said, you have a GREAT beginning! It just needs a bit of tweaking and more content! Stay motivated!!!

Cheers,
Pj

Super info:)

Thank you PJ I will review those links. I appreciate your opinion and input.

I would appreciate opinions on my website. Do I need to add more content in a certain area? www.suzieswebsite.com Thanks!

Hi Suzie - a couple of things that I noticed.

You have lots of menu titles and most of them are click-throughs to another site selling products. I think the menu titles are too long-winded in description - they don't raise interest. Furthermore, I think there are just too many menus.

Suggestion - How about a "Store" menu item then a drop-down of the different areas but more specific than you have now?

Also when someone clicks through to the other site, you want them to also keep your site open. It's simple - on WP when you add a link there is a tick box which you should check if you wish the link you open in a different page. The good thing about that is that your site is still available to them and so they won't lose your details. At the moment, they go to the other page and the danger is that they will just stay there.

Lastly - I feel like there is not much content. You need more posts and to write about your topic or do reviews of some of the products you are recommending to them. Give them a reason to want to read your site and to come back! Of course you are probably in early days and planning to write more posts! But that is definitely what your site needs!

Great niche - I can see that it could be very successful! And I apologise I have gone for all the things you could change without telling you all the good stuff! One of which is the niche, then also what you have written is nicely written - and you are obviously passionate about your topic! All this helps!

Hope these comments have been useful

Sarah

I'm glad the information I gave was helpful. If you want any further feedback, please ask. Always happy to help other WA users where I can!

Sarah :)

Thank you! Sarah you wrote just what I was looking for. I will see what I can do with my store. Yes I only been working on this a few days so I still have things to post.

Hi Suzie, Your site is very descriptive and educational for owners of pomeranians or anyone who is interested in owning one. Readers will be well informed.
Marilyn

Thank You!

I think adding a logo would be nice for one..

Thank you! Ill try that

amazon canceled my account. Can I change my niches so I can keep my site or will I have start over?

Hi there
I'm newbie what types of niche do I need to choose?
:(-

The niche you go into is what you love to do on a day-to-day basis.
Pick something that you love to do and can talk about for hours a day.

Read this blog to understand more :D Welcome to WA by the way.

Hi. You should have one niche per website. If you like the niche you have chosen, I would not consider getting rid of it, just because Amazon cancelled me. There are a million affiliates out there, Amazon is only one.

I would Google your niche + affiliates and see what all comes up. You can apply with other affiliate company's and keep your website as it is.

Thank you! I really didn't want to give up. I enjoy doing this website. :)

Happy to help. :)

It says to use one for gravatar.com. In the training it says I could use any e-mail address.

I am using the same e-mail throughout WA.
Marilyn

Hi,

You have to use the same email address as you have used for the user in WordPress, otherwise gravatar cannot link them...
Is that the case?
But as far as I know, that can be indeed any email address...

Grtz,
Bert

I use the same email for everything. Im not sure whats going on.

And which error does gravatar give you exactly?

it says use e-mail from gravatar.com

I think you best try to login thru Wordpress (see button above in right corner on Gravatar site)...

Yes!! thank you it finally accepted my e-mail address!

There you go! :-)
