Fidget Spinner
So, Google is keeping up with the times. They've added a fidget spinner to its basket of Easter eggs. Typing "fidget spinner" in the search box doesn't show anything but the Top Stories. But, type "spinner" and whalah! Your very own fidget spinner pops up.

Fidget spinners supposed to help you concentrate because it was invented by a mom for her child with autism but it has become a popular craze nowadays. It distracts someone's attention but it's a good stress buster, 'though, lol.
I certainly hope she is making bank on it! Rubik's Cube was the "fidget spinner" of my younger days.
Thanks for commenting!
Unfortunately, she was not able to pay for it to remain patented under her name that's why she lost all the earnings that she should have received. This is the reason why there are lots of fidget spinners in the market which have been modified and some have been imitated as well. :)
Interesting, I received one in the mail. Still do not know why, but gave it to my youngest granddaughter. She thought it was the bomb as she said.
A note of caution -- I've seen several news articles related to pieces breaking off of the spinners and posing a choking hazard for younger children.
From Fox News:
Concerns about fidget spinners highlight unsafe toys report
"Authorities in Germany said last week they plan to destroy tons of the tiny twirling gadgets that have been confiscated by customs agents.
They said they tested the toys, which arrived from China, and found that bits could fall off and pose possible choking hazards for small children."

Trusting things made in China, especially toys does create a major concern. My granddaughter is 10 so the likelihood of her putting it in her mouth is pretty slim. Thanks for the heads up though you never know.
I never could understand the hype, until I started "fidgeting" with one. I simply couldn't out it down!
Me neither. I love when things take off so quickly like that did. I guess it's true, you need to be 15 minutes ahead of your time.
Oh, I can't wait to check this out. Should be fun!!
Thank you for my newest distraction!
