Becoming A Niche Authority.
I think I have figured out what it is to become a niche authority. I know it means becoming an expert in your particular niche but I think I was understanding it wrong for a long time.
When I started I remember after a few months I started getting referrals like crazy, they wouldn't fill out a profile but they kept signing up every few hours. Imagine my disappointment when I realized they were just bots and not even real people. At that time I probably had about 75 website posts.
My first year at Wealthy Affiliate produced very little but I did keep building my website. And now at 19 months my site has built itself up to over 260 blog posts. But recently a couple months ago I noticed something. I started getting comments to my website that were outside of the platform. That's when things started to make sense to me.
I went through my old WA review and added and made the review look much better. I could do this because my style of writing had changed and I began to learn that writing a blog post is more of a feeling than just an act. I began to engage myself as I wrote my blogs and could actually become drawn in to what I was writing. Very strange and it may sound weird but once I began to write like this I began to get more traffic and engagement.
I wanted to share this for others who feel they are struggling and forcing their writing. Forget about the money. Believe in what you are writing about and let yourself go of frustration and eagerness which can show in your content. Be yourself and allow the process to lead you to success. It takes time but this is what will lead you to becoming an authority in any niche.

From the blogging courses I've taken, you're spot on! I believe we can tell when someone's passionate about something or whether the person's just throwing words out there---whether written or spoken. Great advice, David! :)
Definitely, I believe your audience can tell the difference if you are engaged in what you are doing vs not.

Makes sense to me. I always try and just be myself and give the reader what they want to read. That's what it's ll about. The rest will fall into place eventually. :-)

Awesome advice David!
I hope I do so too, but I still get sometimes feedback from people that I should make my reviews more personal, so I guess I can still improve on that.
