A Different Request
Today is my son's 15th birthday and I was wondering if some of you could say Happy Birthday Josh! in the comments. I know it sounds corny but I want him to know not everyone is someone to be feared. We used to live in a somewhat questionable neighborhood and he saw some stuff that made him not really trust people so much. But he is such a good kid and deserves so much and being a Marine Corps veteran and electrician in my 50s that had to slow down I want him to experience some good stuff I cant give him. I just think it would be cool if he could get a positive shout out from people he doesn't know. He is one of my main reasons for living and I love him more than anything. I think he would think it would be cool too and ma!me his birthday a little brighter. Thanks so much if you can help!

Happy birthday Josh! You're one year older than one of my sons. 15 is a fun year, but then again, so are all the years that follow!
I read your dad's comments and thought about my own son and how he sometimes has a negative view of the world. I know there are a number of not-so-great people out there, but the truth is that they are the minority. They just tend to me more visible than all the really awesome people that are out there. Have no doubt that the world is full of good people, and even those who seem questionable turn out to be pretty cool once you get to know them.
I hope you have a great birthday and that things just keep getting better and better as you go along.
