Control Sucks
For many years, I was controlled.Not in the sense of slavery or not being able to choose for myself, but being controlled by other peoples’ opinions of my future.
My Mon was dead certain I couldn’t never go to college without a full time aide.I believe her until I fired the woman two weeks later and spent the next 8 years taking care of myself.
My aunts ‘almost’ had me believing no man would ever want me. That almost “Controlled belief “was quickly let go.
The point is no other individual can control your belief in yourself and your ability to succeed unless you mentally and emotionally give them permission.
Be strong in yourself and you will be everything you want to achieve.

Don't let anyone tell you what you can do with your life. People keep on bringing up job in my head. I do not want a job that control the time you come and go to work. Dictate on how much money you make. My goal is to work hard in this business and strive for excellence. Forget about finding another job. I want to do this full time.
I totally agree. people who think they know what is good for you usually don't even know what is good for themselves
Love this! Take control of your self belief, that is all you need. The other thing that has helped me greatly this past year is surrendering - not in the passive sense but by letting go of trying to control all outcomes that left me stressed and frazzled. Focus on feeling good and everything else falls into place :)
It took me years to understand that 'letting go' doesn't mean 'giving up'. it mean allowing the flow of natural flow of energy to take over
The only control you can really process is what you think and view a situation.
Thank you for sharing this Sunday! I also used to let people control me. Until one day I realized I am a strong woman and can do whatever I put my mind to and stopped listening to others negativity. Stay strong and remember you can do whatever you put your mind to!
