My First Three Days in Wealthy Affiliate

It is my third day today at WA after I had signed up under Premium membership. And what an experience it has been during the three days! In just three days, I’m ready to put up my own website (I haven’t done it as yet at the time of writing this) with all the basic skills and tools at my disposal. Hard to believe, isn’t it? This blog will not be much relevant to those who have been here in WA for a long time but I just wanted to share a few things with all the newcomers like me.

I work in a typical 9-5 job in a diagnostic centre in my hometown (I have described a bit of myself in my profile) and being in a healthcare profession, I’m always tied up with my work with an almost non-existent social life. But despite my hectic schedule, I have always been a heavy net surfer. I have a wide range of interest – music, books, gadgets, etc. and I scourge the net for all my information. It’s as if I cannot live without internet and I’m so very much dependent on it. I have read about the downside of leading an internet-dependent life but for me, it’s difficult to imagine a life without it.

Before I joined WA, I had tried to find out what internet marketing and online business was all about. I had heard about the many possibilities of earning a good revenue through online business but was simply clueless as to how one should be going about it. I did my own research by googling up many articles, websites and blogs but it was still unsatisfactory for me. Then slowly my enthusiasm waned. However, I had that lingering feeling of something like an unaccomplished task but I couldn’t get any help. Then after many years, I got a message in my LinkedIn page from a friend who I met in my university days (he goes by the name of phakacha8 here in WA) and who I haven’t met in many years. After exchanging the usual pleasantries, he introduced me to WA. Though he himself was new to it, I could sense the seriousness in his talk and having known him for long, I instinctively knew he was really serious into it. It seemed as if WA was that one platform that I had been looking for all these years. It seemed to have almost everything that I needed – a wide helpful community, intense training and a place where I could find all the answers related to online business without having to google it myself. Like I said in the beginning, I’m only into my third day today but I have a feeling that I’m on the right track; I’m looking forward to the possibilities that WA has to offer. And today, I’m reminded of that famous Paulo Coelho quote, “And when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it”. I think I’m on my way to a wonderful journey.
