I Think I’ve Lost My Mojo!

Without naming them, I must say there are some people here in Wealthy Affiliate that I admire. They seem to exude a certain energy about them in the way they write their blogs here that it’s always uplifting whenever I read them. And instead of the almost-mundane outpourings of random thoughts and introspection like we regular folks normally fill up our posts, theirs are unique in that there’s always something new to learn, something that makes one see things from a different perspective. I think this is what a “valuable” content is all about, this is what we should always be doing whenever we write posts for our business blog.

I belong to that category of people who writes in the “thinking aloud” style. I have a tendency to write in a personal manner, almost subjectively and I sometimes wonder if it is my undoing. I wonder if this is the reason I encounter dead-end alleys often in my thought process where my mind just refuses to create meaningful writings anymore.

For the past few days, I have not been able to write anything for my business blog depite trying my best to regain my focus. I think I have lost my mojo. I seem to have lost my way and I’m losing sight of things that gives me a sense of fulfilment.

In my earlier days, whenever I got stuck and when I needed to energise myself, music did the trick. A Supertramp or a Fleetwood Mac album would have normally managed to break the inertia. But not this time.

I need to get my mojo working again. They say whenever we feel like this, we need to outline our strengths. I guess I’ll have to do that very thing. And while I’m on it, let me try to come up clear on my short-term and long-term goals too.

It happens to us all. You are not alone in feeling this way. Sometimes walking away from it all for a few days and focus on other things helps us to regain that mojo back again.
We all need a break sometimes.
With Grace and Gratitude

This happens to everyone, even the most notable writers. Sometimes you just have to step away, play and get the creative juices flowing again. I agree, I too strive to be one of those writers whose blogs just flow with energy and knowledge. In time for me, but I enjoy reading yours. It will come back, just don't force it and it will come...
Good luck and enjoy the process!!

Hi! Sukumarth,
The moment you are in has recurred in many people's life, but most people hid it inside so to fit so-called social grace. At this juncture, step aside for few hours or 1-2 days for regrouping yourself. In fact, I have experienced the down time once some 2 months ago, lasting 3 days. Fortunately, I got up after mulling over: There is no better way to go other than high quality direct self-service and no one can do it for me. These thoughts uplifted me out of the pit of down-time.

All the best to uplifting and returning...

I think your strength is your writing style. It's very easy to read and you express yourself well. It sounds honest. You'll get it back...just stay connected to the community and someone will ignite a spark.

Like Alan said, step away. I find that often my content springs to mind while I am about other things. So really in a sense, I never stop meditating about the subject. You are not alone nor lost, just going through... :)

Maybe this will help you back on track

Thanks, Loes. Let me check.

Thanks for sharing.

Mojo in high gear wa universe is with you

Kick that mojo on Sukumar. The universe is filled with unique thoughts!

I'm trying, Mike. Need a whole new perspective on most things.

Are you sure? Just refocus and you are OK.

I need to start afresh from tomorrow. I should be okay.
