Completed Level 1 Looking Ahead!
I don’t know if calling myself a newbie is apt now that I have finished Level 1 of my training and after having got myself acquainted a bit with this online business thing. I haven’t edited my bio in my Profile here where I have written I’m a complete newbie in the very first sentence itself. The Level 1 lessons had been intense, paving an almost prefect foundation of what lies ahead and what could be my destiny too. I don’t know if I’m being overzealous but I feel that there’s a lot of potential for me for earning a good revenue here if I follow the lessons and the trainings carefully. Isn’t this exactly what I had been looking for all these years - intricately and cleverly designed course, an all-encompassing package with the basic tools and nitty gritty of online business, an ever-helpful community and support from all around? I would like to believe that I’m still on the starting of the learning curve and I cannot openly comment on certain things that seem to be somewhat technical for me at the moment. But this too shall pass and who knows by the end of the certification course, I’ll be an expert. Touché! How nice it would be then! How nice it would be to help and guide the newcomers in the community! There are still things in Level 1 lessons that I might need to rehearse as I continue building my website.
I’m still not very clear with how the “rank” is given because I have seen that I have been consistently climbing up. This, when I feel I haven’t done much except go through the lessons step-by-step, commenting on certain posts, following a few fellow WAers, putting up a few blog posts (this is my fourth), creating my website which is still incomplete, that’s all. I had signed up on September 14, 2017 and I find it somewhat incredulous that I had climbed up in the rankings so much. Rather than feeling happy I’m utterly confused.
On hindsight, I still would consider myself a newbie and there’s no need to change or edit my Profile bio. I feel I learn better that way. Let’s leave it at that.

Keep making progress. We are all here together. The ranking is due to your activity on the site each day. Learn everyday and be the inspiration you seek.
Yes, the ranking must be reflective of my activity here. Which means, I need to pat myself on the back because I thought I wasn't able to dedicate enough time here as much as I would want to because of my office work. I'm active late in the night mostly :)
Congrats. on your progress!
I wouldn't worry about WA rank, it's merely a reflection of your activity and engagement within the community here, it's not a benchmark of "success" in any shape or form and it certainly won't earn you a dime.
Thanks! I was confused with the rank but let me not think about it too much. There's a hell lot of work left to be done.
