Got 5 seconds?
As some of you know, I have a scrapbooking website. I know it’s a broad niche, but it’s hard (for me) to break down. One of the companies I love (and sell for to get a discount) is Close to My Heart. This year they asked us to read “The 5 Second Rule” by Mel Robbins. WOW. GREAT book!!!
This book is fairly new. Copyright 2017. So you may not have heard of it. The 5 Second Rule can help with the following (which is a partial list) as taken from the book jacket:
Becoming More Confident
Increasing Productivity
Make More Money
Conquer Anxiety
Pursue Your Dreams,
Understand Procrastination, etc
The 5 Second Rule is a blueprint for taking action. It can apply to ANY aspect of your life that you’d like to improve. Just this partial list above would be enough for me to hear what she has to say. How about you?
I need to increase my productivity. Sometimes when you work from home, you have distractions. There is no one breathing down your back looking for “that report” so you get sidetracked. Hmmm, how do I know this??
I’d like to make more money. Funny, as I was reading (and listening to her TED talk), I was thinking about WA. She talks about NOT reinventing the wheel. Follow the path that someone else has already paved to get what you want. Anyone we know that has carved that path and currently showing us the way?????
I could go on but get the book if you’re a highlighter like me. I need to keep refreshing my brain OR watch her 20 minute TED talk. She not only has a lot to say, she’s entertaining.

I thought you were considering leaving Debbie. I hope it's not so. May the 5 second rule bring you a success track!
I'm not sure where you heard that. I'm here for a LONG time. I do get sidetracked with other projects but I'm trying to get back on track with my sites. My brain has all these posts in mind but I can't sit down long enough to write them out.
I hope you're doing well.

That's a relief. I may have confused you with a Dense Debbie. With the Sui. It was easy at first to confuse you with a Sue! LOL
