$20 to Pay Forward
I wanted to pass this on. It had special meaning to me as we were a military family at one time. My (now ex) husband was in Vietnam and while he did come home, I know many military members that didn't. The community rallies around the members family for a while but at some point, people move on. However, the family is still trying to wrap their arms around their loss. It's more difficult for children because they don't really understand this thing called war.
Kyle and Carson send us e-mails weekly encouraging us to pay it forward. This is a good example to follow:
No words are necessary. The sincerity of the little boy and the look on the Colonel's face, tells it all.

Debbi, you should have suggested a tissue box. Having grown up in a military family this really touches the heart! Thank you for sharing! Blessings, Christa
Finally able to see the video Debbi thanks to Andre. What a great little boy to think we take a lot of things for granted and then to see something like that. It certainly gives you food for thought about what is happening in the world today. Thanks for sharing Debbi, all the best.
Sorry Debbi I can't receive it when I go to play it , it comes up the uploader has not made this for your country ( Australia ). All the best anyway.
Try this Robert I couldn't do the same so I went direct to You tube to find it.

Thanks, Debbi. I always like a good cry before bed. My hubs is a Vietnam Vet, too. This is truly one of those amazing moments. Thanks for sharing. . . even if I need another box of Kleenex, my friend!
Sorry, Carla. I should have said that to begin with....get tissues. Many people just don't know what the families go through. Thanks for your response. ~Debbi
Thanks I don't proof my comments here generally, but I DO when I proof/edit/write for others.
Not a biggie, I understood and you had an excuse.....you had no tissues and a tear messed you up.
Unfortunately it state the video not available here in Australia at the moment but I have bookmarked this to check on it later.
Regardless I know that you heart is worth more than anything here on earth. You are truly a precious Angel and your blessing are already on it's way to you.

Bummer. Wear long sleeves or have a tissue. Of course, I have a special place in my heart for the military. I learn from my big bro. :-)
