My Pace.A Snail's Pace.
So I've been here at WA since late March. When I first joined, I said to the community, "I have a part-time job that I love and a full time disabled husband. Can I make this work?" Everyone assured me that I could if I was willing to work hard, and just go at my own pace, which I am and I do; although I call it 'working hard', I also find it great fun and a true form of creative expression.
But I've been here almost three months and I'm only on Level 3, lesson 2. I have 8 posts on my website, though they are long posts. After I've chosen a [Great!] keyword to create my content around, I get started with the same specific goal in mind every time: I will finish this post today and my aim is approximately 1200 words. I will not expound too much on any one topic and I won't let one thing lead to another...
Then the research gets really interesting and ideas start to flow as I incorporate my own experiences in with what I'm learning; before I know it, it's two days and 2961 words later and I still have my conclusion to write!
I know Kyle tells us not to worry about creating a masterpiece, just write a post with good content written around a great keyword and publish it. My posts are far from masterpieces but even after I've finished a long one, I really do like what I've created and I think it's informative and interesting. (Here's hoping my potential audience agrees.)
I get that it's better to have too much to say than to have to struggle to fill a blank page with good content, and I'm hoping that writing posts is the same as most things in life: I'll get better and more efficient with practice. Maybe I can soon graduate to a sloth's pace!
HAPPY 'CONTENT-CREATING' ALL YOU FABULOUS MEMBERS OF THIS GREAT WA COMMUNITY!!!

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Means so much. You keep persevering as well and we'll all make it eventually!
You will get there sometimes slow is better I’m probably the opposite but then have to go back and repeat the videos, I don’t find the writing easy but I’m getting better, I have faith in you and I will be following your progress with interest
Take care Brett
Thank you Brett, for having faith in me. I have faith in you as well. Keep up your great work!
You have done an amazing work and keep it up and don't worry about your lessons you will get them done but don't forget to take notes so you don't forget anything that is what I did and it has been a big help.
I hope this helps you out and best wishes on your journey with WA.
You are so very welcome I am glad that I was able to help you out. You are absolutely right we all need encouragement now and again but I don't mind given encouragement or advice. That is what I do the best at work.

A snail usually gets where she's going and sometimes before the hare. Obviously you enjoy what you're doing. Keep at it. Consider dividing your content into two instead of one long post. Some may find that more appealing than a very long one, especially if you're reaching out to the younger generation. All the best.
Thanx Russell! All the best to you too. Good advice.
