My 1st steps in a new online world
Hello everyone,
this is my 1st blog and as i write these words i find it a bit difficult to describe this new start i am making. As a new member i have mixed feelings about this new endeavor of mine. But i guess it's natural as with everything new to feel a bit strange in the beginning until you get the hang of it.
It took me 3 days to set up my basic website at h-m-entertainment.com. As i had a little knowledge with websites construction and word press it was not very difficult to make the basic structure of my website. WA has created great tools and with very detailed instructions the start went extra smoothly. Although it's far too early and the content is minimal at the moment i plan to update it as regularly as i can with articles and posts.
My website will include mostly movies and video games reviews as well as video games accessories and in the future home cinema equipment. That's why i decided to call it Home Media Entertainment. My plan consists of 3 phases. At the first phase i plan to add more movies to create a satisfactory catalogue of many genres as well as refine the visual elements of the website in general (logos, graphics etc). In the second phase i plan to add video games and video games accessories reviews. With this i will open the second big category i plan to work on. And the third phase will start when i start reviewing home cinema equipment. These 3 parts will be the 3 pillars of Home Media Entertainment and what i plan on working on the future.
What i am proud of at the moment? Well obviously the website is up and running and i have started making some connections with members here at WA. No financial results yet as it is far too early for something like this but i am optimistic as i go further into the training that this will come. Time will show.
My plans for the next 3 months is to have the first 2 phases of my website up and running and have everything setup and ready and continue to widen my network and my circle.
My goal in the next 6 months is to be able to have some financial results enough to at least be able to pay the subscription for WA and my website. If i can manage this i will be very happy because from there i can aim higher with more freedom and the sense that i don't loose money out of this new journey.
That's all for the moment. Hopefully i will be able to write more blogs in the future. I want to thank all the members that greeted me here in WA and that have helped me so far in my first steps in this difficult new journey.

Very nice future plans. I can feel Home-cinemas would be a big thing in the future. I wish you all the luck.
Home cinemas have been mainstream for some years now. As TVs have grown thinner and easier for people to buy bigger sizes they come closer to what a cinema can offer but from the comfort of their houses.

Sounds like you've got a solid plan, which is great. FYI, you'll make much more money from phases 2 & 3 than #1. It's very difficult to monetize movie reviews.
I would also use merchants other than Amazon for the products. The items you'll be discussion won't be impulse purchases. They will be something people will want to think about for a couple of days before purchasing. Therefore Amazon's 1-day cookie won't work well for you.
