By chance are there backups of my websites knowledgeisnice.net and un-pharma.com? ?
I have been gone for over 6 months.
There won't be a back-up, but that is fine. If you are not using a website for 6 months, you won't want to try to revive it. You will want to start fresh and if there s any content you want to try to recover, you can check out web archives.

Great to have you back Craig!

How do I get access to my websites without WA to be able to transfer them to a different host? I had to sign back up for a month because nobody was answering me.

Hi - so, I assume you cancelled your membership here at some point?
Did you transfer your domains/websites to another hosting provider before you left?
Were you gone more than 60 days?
If you didn't transfer your sites, they will have been deleted after 60 days.
But, if less than 6 months ago, then Site Support may still have a back up, you will need to ask them
Just be aware that any host will delete your site if you stop paying them. WA actually keeps a copy of your site a lot longer than most hosts. Just saying this so you avoid losing your site again if you move it to another host as most hosts will delete it the moment you stop paying them.
Yeah, hopefully they still have backups. If not it's not the end of the world. And if not I understand.
Thanks Michael.
You can go here.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/account/subscription
And cancel billing.
For any websites hosted here, you need to arrange alternative hosting for your website before your subscription ceases, as you would be locked out of the platform; site support backups are only available for 60 days.
You can never revert back to being a starter.
You may reach out to site support for a backup of your websites.
Also, domain names must have passed the grace period of 60 days.
===
But I hope this has been figured out.
You can access your websites, if still running, by entering the domain name, followed by /wp-admin.
Example dot com/wp-admin
Will bring you to the login page.
If not saved already on your computer, you will need the login credentials to log into your website.
Rudy
As Diane stated, you can check with Site support. They may still have your login credentials.

If I understood you well, you only can respond to comments through W.A., but the visitor can't reply back after commenting. For that to happen, the visitor needs to subscribe through your website to leave a reply.
I think W.A. has set up the initial step for someone here to comment on your website as a way of making us look good and legit at the same time should anyone visits our websites. The rest is up to you to have others outside of W.A. to comment on your website where they can be interactive with you. All the best!
But there is a checkbox in WP comments settings to allow or not, people to reply without subscribing, it seems to me, which I have checked to allow.
Anyway, I think I got it sorted out by getting rid of the Jetpack plugin!
Thanks for the response!
You can moderate the comments within your WordPress under comments. It prevents spam . Within WordPress under comments you will find comments waiting for your approval to be posted to your website. You can also post your reply from within the same area on WordPress. Here is the link to Kyles video on the subject. Making Your Website a Place to Engage Kyle explains in the video about moderating the comments in WordPress. I am not sure if this is what you are wondering about but hope this is helpful.
Thanks for your response!
Actually, I contacted site support, and they said the problem was having the Jetpack plugin installed! I uninstalled it and everything seems to be good now!
Craig
Never had a problem with any of my sites. Could be that your settings are not right as Abie suggests.

No one will be notified when you reply to comments on your website unless you install a plugin that makes it possible. So other people coming to your site will also not be notified which is something I hope WP will make possible in the future. But for now it can be made possible with a plugin.
You are welcome. It also took me a very long time before I realized that. And then I spend a lot of time finding a good plugin that made it possible.
The one I am using is called "Subscribe to Comments Reloaded" and it is very easy to use and set up and works great. It is not flashy or anything like that but I also just prefer a simple setup for this.
Hi Craig
Are you saying that you don’t get notification of replies to your comments?
If that’s what you mean, unfortunately WP doesn’t naturally provide this and people need to install a plugin or code to inform commenters when a reply has been made.
I think most people don’t sort this!
If you leave a comment at my site, when I reply, if you’ve left an email address, you get notification.
I use a plugin called “Comment Reply Email” for this.
:-)
Richard
Richard, it actually seems that people don't get my responses to their comments. I have installed the plugin you suggested, so I guess we'll see...
Thanks for this.
I once wondered about this on sites generally.
I do read responses to site comment ones especially if I've asked a question.
I suspect it’s more likely that people don’t look for responses to their comments. I know I don’t go looking for responses until prompted.
Anyway, hopefully the plugin will solve the problem.
:-)
Richard
I am wondering if you mean comments that you leave on Site Comments or here in the WA blog?
Lily
I've noticed that any comments that I do in Site comments for other people, they get to respond to them but I don't see their answers in my emails. This is normal.

Hi
You may like review below discussion resource Any recommendations for comment notification emails?
So very welcome.
Would be nice to hear how you are getting along. Much obliged and best wishes.
To put it simply, and at the risk of sounding like a defeatist (is that a word?) I have had every piece of crap thrown at me in the last month that one could imagine, who isn't in the same boat (and actually, we are...), but I know that the purpose is to strengthen, and if I was one to blow my brains out, I would have done it decades ago, haha.
I am actually doing well, and thanks for asking.
And now I ask you the same question. :D
Thank you for you notes.
To be honest, super busy all the time. But hey we should be happy we are, busy is good. We're helping lots of folks :)
Again much obliged and best wishes.
I would argue that busy isn't always good, but idle hands isn't good either. As long as we're doing something worthwhile, what more could we want?

Hi Craig ...
If I go to https://un-pharma.com your site pops up ok.
If I go to https://un-pharma.com/un-pharma.com it is as you describe but... the menu links all point to
https://un-pharma.com/'menu item' which generally work ok.
You need someone with experience in Sitekit to advise what might be happening to create the odd, 2 tier URL. As Trish suggests, perhaps WA Site Support can take a look.
In either case, the menu item Home is where your posts are and the menu item 'Posts' points to an odd page that contains a link to subscribe to a newsletter and an affiliate disclaimer. So what are you trying to achieve with the Home and Post menu items?
:-)
Richard
With the Posts page I was trying to make a place where all my posts can be found. I never built a menu page, so I don't know where that came from.
WordPress is so weird to me, although I am slowly getting used to it.
Anyway, thanks, Richard. I appreciate you checking into things for me!
OK.. I know what you mean about WP. It’s now bed time in Portugal so I’ll take another look tomorrow.

Hey Craig,
Check to see if your Settings > Reading > homepage displays are setup like that in the screen print below...
If your settings match those in the screen print, then do reach out to SiteSupport and explain what is happening to them so that they can take a look to see what the issue might be.
