Discouraged but hopeful!

I know it seems very contradictory and it really is. I am on holidays for the moment and I have managed to make some improvements and changes to my site.

The site looks better now, with a new theme. Clear and easy to read. I have been posting new content and site health is awesome. I have also added a sign up form in order to capture e-mail addresses with Aweber. There is a fair bit more work to do but things are moving forward. So I am hopeful, I know it is possible to build a good site. The comments I have received from people also indicate that my content is good and that there is a need for the services and products I am promoting.

Now for the bad stuff. After more than one year and almost 60 pages and posts I don't receive more than 200 visitors a month. Last time I logged in to my Clickbank account I had no more than three "hops" in two weeks. Hardly enough to make any money.

I am planning a post which I hope will give me more visitors. It has a huge search potential so maybe with some luck it will help to boost traffic.

Apart from this, I think it is time to figure out another traffic strategy. SEO might be good but I have yet to receive much traffic from it so I think it is time to start looking for an alternative traffic source. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

What are your experiences of traffic? Any ideas or suggestions?

Cheers everyone and keep going!

Jojo

Try posting on social media, Jojo. I think I might have said this to you before.I also gave you a link to one of my articles.

Find some groups relevant to your niche this might take you 2 weeks. Remember work your way "easy" into the group, read the rules and start contributing useful comments first.

The point is be welcomed in the group before you attempt to solicit your posts there. Once you develop a good relationship with a few groups (and better yet, can be looked at as a "go to" specialist) they will accept your posts with open arms.

It takes time, but this is a marathon not a sprint. Good luck.

Thank you,
I will start searching for some good groups and forums and maybe try Yahoo answers as well. I certainly need new sources of traffic.
Cheers,
Jojo

Live your tag Joachim and try until you succeed!
