I signed up for Google AdSense last week. Yesterday I started noticing the ads they were putting on my pages. They were ads for my competitors! My site is about retiring out
Thanks everyone for that great feedback. I cancelled my account with Google Adsense and removed the script from my Header file.
I had to agree to forego receiving the $0.03 I had already earned! It was a tough decision.

Hi Steve. I would love to see your site if you don't mind. You can PM if you like. I moved from Memphis, Tn. to Kyiv, Ukraine last summer. Best thing I ever did in my life.

Hi Steve, to block those ads - In Google Adsense, on the left-hand side of the screen look for 'Blocking controls' and click on the link.
The ads that are appearing on your website should be appearing there. Above the ads there will be tab marked 'Block', or similar. Because I have blocked some ads, your screen may be slightly different, but this will work for you. You may need to revisit this occasionally to get full control.
Yes Steve, you can block those ads. I'll get back to you from my computer in a few minutes.
Hi - the ads actually reflect what the person who sees them has been searching for recently. Each visitor will see something different.
I learn something new every day here at WA. I did not know that. I think I will keep following you. You are a keeper as my fisherman neighbor says.

I took of adsense from my affiliate marketing website for two reasons... despite the fact I filled in the details of where they could be placed, they still ended up in places I didnt want them and split up my articles. I know how frustrating I find it when I have to scroll past ads to get back to the article Im reading. The other reason was that the ads were inappropriate for my website, and I had filled in those details too, so this shouldn't have happened, but it did, I tried to get them altered and put in a better place but I got no resolution so I cancelled them.

Thanks. I am hoping that works. The information in those pages is much better than I could create and already has the links to start an account.

I was in chat last night, and learned how to find my original referrer. Apparently, I came in under you and Carson. It is exciting to have a direct connection to the top!
Thanks, I had wondered how to find the info. I did, and was really surprised at how inactive my referrer is, except for getting referrals. Weird.
There are two ways. In your dashboard, click Help Center. Your referrer will be listed as a Premium Coach.
In your profile, scroll all the way to the bottom of your messages. Whoever wrote your first message is your referrer. In both cases, mine were Kyle and Carson.
Thank you. I seem to have 3 premium coaches. Carson, Kyle and Chris Lee.
My first message was from Chris and the 2nd from Kyle.

When I opened WA this morning, there were a bunch of messages from Kyle in the top right corner. I want to look at each one of them but now I can't find them. Anyone know how
ok, i'll try one more time. Mailbox... "inbox"... go to the far right of the row of boxes at the top to "search by keyword or people" and put Kyle's name in there.
Anyone else have an idea? Neither of those suggestions finds the messages I am looking for. And of course I know who Kyle is. Kyle wrote two blogs on Instagram. He recently wrote on the Super Affiliate Challenge.
This message appears to be more recent, but it looks like in a previous post maybe you found what you were looking for?
In your mailbox, at the top, make sure you're in your "inbox" then click "all". They should then come up.
Kyle is one of the owners lol...you can search his name in the top black search menu. Or look in your emails.
