Learning Sometimes Requires Lots of Rework!
The above pic has nothing to do with this post, but I'd much rather think about Cancun than fixing tags!
I don't know about you, but all this learning I'm doing is showing me all the mistakes I have made. For example, why didn't I know how important alt.tags were? I don't know how it is with All in one SEO, but Yoast just gave me bad readability and keyword grades, and much of the reason was missing tags on posts and images. There were some others, but I had no idea about adding those tags.
So I just spent the whole day adding tags and descriptions and other corrections to all the images and all of my previous posts on my first website. But I think it was time well spent because I also made all the posts better and longer. So perhaps in a few weeks, I'll start seeing better traffic numbers.
I can't wait to see what I learn tomorrow that makes me go back and fix all my past posts! Onward and backward, er I mean upward!

Onward and backward indeed!
I've been studying Jay's webinars on Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Then when I logged into mine I discovered I had NO data for one of my old sites, a shred of data for another, and a ton for another. It's the holiday weekend, so I didn't login to wordpress backends to see what I did. Later for that, onward and backward!

I feel for you. I have had to do similar rework, several times I might add. I'm thinking I need to do it again, because I don't have a landing page for my affiliate partners on my niche website.
Argh! But you are correct, It will make my site and my posts better. Keep plugging away and it will get easier.
Yeah, right. I believe you. Maybe in the year 2026.
