Good morning from Medellin
Here is your free pic from our new home town. Yesterday, we did a lot of walking showing our guest, Debbie from South Carolina the sights here. According to my "Heart app" - 6.2 miles 14,419 steps, and 14 floors. The 14 floors were mostly climbing up to the Metro train for trips back and forth. They are steep climbs. I have become a big fan of futbol, otherwise known as soccer. Colombians go ape over their soccer teams. Medellin has 2 local teams. I don't know much about either team, but these are their icons. DIM is Independiente Medellin while AN is Atletico Nacional. I had a red shirt for DIM, but no shirt for A/N. So I corrected that yesterday while shopping downtown. Now I'm covered - Yellow for the Colombian National team which played in the World cup, and Red and Green.
My friend and I are going to walk Poblado Avenue this morning. Every Sunday they shut down half of the Avenue and everyone walks. They bring their dogs, kids, bicycles, skates, etc. It is one of my favorite things to do in Medellin. Later, I will get back to work on creating "keyword-rich" content!
