Content production is no longer an issue
Sorry for the wining the other day.
After all the wining I did a few days ago, I took all the advice, found a new niche, found the perfect domain name, and have knocked out two different 1,000 word articles. This allowed me to finally complete Level 2 of the training! Yay!
Since I am retired and living outside the USA, that is my new niche. My domain name is actually retireoutsideusa.com. Is that perfect or what? And I was just notified that it is indexed in Google. I still have no idea how to monetize this niche, but right now I don't care. I was stuck in the training and now I have momentum. So I encourage each of you to start with a niche you know something about. It will make the training much easier.
The picture above is my gardener, Roger and me in my back yard in Boquete, Panama. We lived there for 17 months. When we planted that plant it was about 6 inches tall. Things grow very well in the tropics.

It is good you are starting out with some articles that do not have affiliate links for things to buy. You don't want to overload your site with lots of links. Interesting articles give a good foundation. I am sure you will find plenty of ways to monetize when the time is right. Sounds like you are on the right track now.
You are right. I don't want to overload it with links and ads or I will not be any different than sites like Internationalliving.com. They are all about what they can get you to buy.

Garden and have feeders out in my yard for the birds.

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. We loved sitting out on our patio watching all the nature and seeing our garden grow and develop. Our gardener was excellent. In a future post, I hope to show our video of the Coatimundi family that came into our yard. But I have to learn how to link videos first.
Looks like a paradise for me! with this kind of garden, you will be inspired to write articles for your website, congrats for being indexed already, keep going, follow all the training, important for you to not skip anyone, watch, be involved with the community, you will make new friends, asking as many questions to them will help you progress in your new venture.

Well be nice to retire with money enough to move anywhere. I am retired also, but I always worked for myself and didn't put anything away for retirement. Well here I living on what the government gives me. Enough of my whining, I hope to make enough money to come for a visit. Maybe that is a way to monetize your website and get to meet fellow members and others. Build a few little houses, offer tours and a secure place to stay. Just an idea,sounds good to me what do you think about the idea. Get hooked up with travel agency, be a good good way to monetize your website. Let me know if you like my idea. Sruffey
Thanks for your help. But I have to tell you, you don't need money in the bank to live outside the USA. And Spirit Airlines and Jet Blue offer great fares from Florida to Medellin.
You could easily find a 1 bedroom apartment here for under $500. And if you didn't mind sharing, I bet you could find a bedroom in a shared apartment for $2-300. And that would be including utilities and internet.
Come and see. You may not ever use that return ticket.
