Nice chatting to you regarding the comments!

You're in the hammock, just above the top point of the Premium Star in your profile. You can send my prize to: P.O Box....

Best wishes with your ventures! I used to suffer from SAD when I worked in casinos working nights. A site like yours would have been very useful back then!

Hello there Steve! Hope you don't mind me giving you a follow. I read your bio, and seen you have a background in Marketing. I'm fairly new in that subject, and just thought you would be the perfect guy for me to contact if I have any questions regarding it! Kind Regards.. Miguel

Hi Steve, nice to hear from you. I look forward to getting to know you my new WA friend. Sorry about the huge delay in responding but I am a bit slow at the moment. Trying to do too many things at once.

From your accomplishments above and a comment below I see you have a website up and running. You might want to think about putting the links here on your profile page.

You do this by going to the right of your profile page, down to the bottom where it says 'Follow me on' and click on it. Put your website URL and any social media URLs you have (and want to add). This way people like me can hop in, visit and leave a comment. This makes it easier for us to follow you as this will be a direct link. And extra traffic is always welcome.

You should also do some more blogs here on your profile page. These go into Google too so add to your online profile. Also if you are promoting WA these WA blogs help build trust with your referrals. They can see you are really involved here.

If you have time I would love it if you visited one of my websites and left a comment on a post, any one will do. The site addresses are workingonthewildside.com & fantasy-sci-fi-vision.com.

As soon as you have a website link here let me know so I can return the comment.

Keep working hard, having fun and don’t forget to ask questions.

A very nice boss once told me, ‘Helen, when you ask a silly question everyone else breathes a collective sigh of relief because they don’t have to!’ And that is so true. No question is silly so ask away.

If I can’t help I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Now let us keep in touch.

Ciao
Helen

Hi Steve, I just left a comment on your article about leaf mulchers. This is a link to the video I was talking about - https://youtu.be/n9OhxKlrWwc
The information most relevant to you starts at 2.30.
Hope you don't mind me intruding like this, I just thought it might help you to sell more products.
Anyway, all the best!

Thanks for the add, Steve. I was hesitant to join the live chat my first few weeks here, but seeing your posts and the way you "moderate" the interactions gave me the confidence to dive in. While it may never by my favorite way to interact (the feed just runs too fast for my tastes), I'm glad to feel welcomed and no longer hesitant. Just wanted to point out that your efforts there make a difference you may not even realize, and I, for one, am most appreciative.

Hi Steve.
Thank you for your support and help tonight in live chat, and for adding me to your circle of friends here at WA. It's funny, while I am from Australia (England for a short time), I just saw that you are from Kent. I have family over in England in Deal and my daughter, and her family and I were just this afternoon talking about coming over to visit her partner's family, also in Kent, in 4 or 5 years time. How funny is that? Much success to you and thanks again.

You are quite welcome. I lived in Australia for a while too! Such a small world, you will have to let me know if you ever make it to Kent.

Hope you get your issue sorted!

Thanks Steve.
I have a feeling it won't get sorted because I think it will require a reach out from the people involved and to be honest I don't think it is that important to them. But we will see. I will let you know if we end up getting there but there's definitely a big plan underway to get over to England and Kent in particular. Where did you live in Australia?
Reply
SteveMand Premium
Well I hope it does get sorted. It isn't really fair on you. I lived and worked in Sydney and did a lot of travelling around the country. Where in Oz are you?

Originally Melbourne, but now in Queensland on the Gold Coast. Have been to Sydney a few times when my brother lived there.
Reply
SteveMand Premium
Ah yes I travelled up through Queensland, made it as far north as Cairns.

I haven't made it that far north yet, but hopefully soon. I'll be heading up to Darwin next to visit my friend.Where in Kent are you? So much to see and do just there for the kind of experience we want. But we probably won't get to see as much as we would like. When I was over in the UK last, I only scratched the surface and I was there for nearly 8 weeks.
Reply

I am in Tonbridge, West Kent and next to Royal Tunbridge Wells. I could say the same for Australia, I spent around a year there travelling and work and only scratched the surface too!

Hi Steve.
Just letting you know that the problem I had looks like it was important after all. There has been a nice 'reach out' like I was hoping for. Don't know if it will make a difference this late in the scheme of things, but I really hope it does. Needless to say, I feel happier anyway. Just looking around areas to visit in Kent and you live in a lovely area too. Oh so many places to choose from, LOL

Hey Steve! Just reread your profile. How can you be laid back and play football and run ultramarathons? Most of the people that I know that do those are really driven not laid back.... But hey, if you can do it that's probably way better for your health than being so uptight like the guys I know.
Reply
SteveMand Premium
Haha! Ultramarathons are the ultimate in laid back activity, you just run for a very long time at a very slow pace!

Hey, I'd be happy to walk 1/4 mile.... These guys I know are spastic over their I've gotta be first. Maybe if I eat 1/2 of a banana I can lose .25 pounds and that will help. Guess I just know some nutty people....

Hi,Steve, just noticed you were from Kent, me too, I'm in Folkestone, what about you? Hope all is going well for you at W.A, I am only just starting to have the time to dedicate to it, so its early days for me, but love the community and the way people really want the best for each other.
Wishing you the very best of success

Hi Ali! I am from Tunbridge Wells! All going well here, have been here coming up for two years and have learnt a lot.

I have few friends here in Folkestone that moved from Tunbridge Wells. Yes, I have been here about the same, only now have I the time to dedicate to it. I am certainly learning a lot too and completely new to affiliate marketing and have basic computer skills, so feel a sense of achievement every day, when I've mastered something new. Glad its going well for you Steve and that you have gained so much.

Thanks for the follow Steve, Nice to see more people from the UK here,

I worked in Weybridge in surrey for 15 years but gave it up about 5 years ago due to having children, took a drop in pay for doing it also:(

I still go down there from time to time as I still look after 11 houses there which I re - decorate when the tenants move out,

Best of luck here at WA.

Steve,
My first website is: Retired Too Soon. For domain I'm considering retirecheaper.com or inventiveretirement.com. If I get good results on the "cheap" side of retiring, I'd probably expand to the more financially secure side of retiring. Of those two names, is the second one reasonable or too professional looking? Note, most retirement sites are based on investing.

I really like the second one actually, I think it is catchy.

Me too. The niche deals with older people like me that are usually cautious about rip-offs so I think the second one looks a little more professional.

Well hey there Steve! My friend said you were an okay bloke, or whatever you tea drinkers call it. His name was SurfsideBob and he got his old butt booted off here yesterday, said he was tearing the roof off or some such nonsense. lol

Anyway, he asked me to pass this along, that you're a stand up guy. So if you ever want to connect with him you gotta do it through Gmail, first part is surfsidebobby

Hope you're well, peace bro. :-)

Hey Steve,

Just seen you there in Live Chat.

Have a few questions if you got a second please.

Do I have to add my site to Search Console four times as https, http, httpswww and www versions? I click on the gear icon for each and select preferred domain? And, finally, do I have to sumit a sitemap for each version of the website?

Thanks Steve.
Reply
SteveMand Premium
I think you should just need to submit it once for the https version, whether you submit it with or without the www. I think doesn't matter.

Also you should only need to submit one sitemap for your site. Hope that helps!
Reply
PhilipC1 Premium
Hi Steve,

Thank you very much. I asked the community as well not 20 seconds ago.

With the https, we now have four versions we can have in search console.

I understand that I need now to have all those versions pointing to my new https website.

Yes, your answer is very helpful as I now know I don't need to be adding site maps for each etc. Thank you for that.

Much appreciated Steve.

Hello ...and thank you for the exchanges.....I have just deleted all of my posts on WA...this will allow me to use these posts on another site without having conflicts with Google.

I still maintain that there is an arrogance that is unhealthy with WA.

They depend on "Blind Faith" as I have stated many times.

Good luck I hope the best for you and others....

Hi Steve, I finally got to the bottom of my Google Analytics problem(s). What you told me was part of it and I appreciate your help. The other part I was missing is I had to paste my Google tracking ID in the header of my home page using the WP editor in the appearance drop down menu. Now I will be able to see if I get any visitors.
I just hope everything else is good so I get traffic. We'll see. I'll let you know if you like.

Hey Steve, how's it going? You still putting a little time + effort into WA ? Am still waiting for my first sale. Think I'll drop dead the day it shows :)
But still working at improving my website and it has come on nicely since those early days, when I started 3 months ago. Trouble is that there's not enough time. Can afford just an hour a day and there's the training I want to do, I want to write comments so that I can get comments back etc etc. Hectic but enjoyable.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Roy

I'm good thanks Roy! Yes still putting the time in. Don't worry, three months isn't long at all, it took me eight months to make my first sale! You will get there.

I know what you mean about the time factor - so much to learn and so little time. The longer you have been here the more you learn. This time in a year, things will be much clearer!

Right on, Steve!! My name is Sean. I live in Arizona, USA. Question, what is an ultra-marathon?
Football is just about the only sport I care to watch! Real football, not the, yawn, American version.
I like the fact that you're on Wealthy Affiliate with your marketing background. It bodes well as far as legitimacy goes.
Pleasure to follow!
Warm Regards,
Sean

Nice to meet you Sean! An ultramarathon is anything above a marathon, but generally is considered to be 50km plus.

Nice to meet another football fan! Hope all is going well for you - your website is something you can personally relate to so I am sure you will do well.

50 km plus eh? That's a pretty stiff run!! I used to do 5k's all the time in the Army, but that was a doddle.
Thank you! Gonna check out your sites today. The backpacking one looks especially interesting.
Cheers!
