We have been motivated
My partner and I have decided to do something about our health, together. One in all in as they say.
We have been inspired by one particular blog of recent times (thanx Stepchook) and have taken the plunge, but we are not doing what Stepchook did, that is way too hard!
Even though we reckon that a 10 day juice fast is way too hard, it does not diminish the determination we have to take stock of our lives.
Two days ago we went out and purchased a whole lot of "good" foods for the start of our campaign - plenty of fruit, vegetables, grass fed meat, fish, white meats etc and we are now at the beginning of a new active life, supporting each other!
We are hoping that we will succeed at this and we are committed to achieving our goal, and our goal is simple: Improve our health sufficiently for us to lead an active life.
I won't be blogging about this every day but I will update our progress regularly.
Here's to a happy and healthy future for us all, and you too!

There are so many ways to go about changing our lifestyles it can be just as mind boggling as the first few months here at WA!!
Having said that I will look at all ideas, take a bit from each which fits us and work on it. So thanx for your help and we will have a look at your site in the coming days.

Hi. Good for you. I jumped in and started to juice everything a year ago but my stomach never felt good so I stopped about 4 months ago and now feel much better.
My suggestion is to do this slowly so that your body can get used to your new regime.
I think that is why we decided to not go down the juicing path, rather we thought it would be better if we just modified our old diet (oh ok, totally revamped it!) and took it slow.
What are you doing now, may I ask.

It is important to realize that first, what you tow have, and then START doing something.
My tip for you is to keep educating about what a healthy lifestyle (not only food) is and always be ready to challenge your beliefs to improve (comes with everything in life but people tend to be more stubborn when it comes to food).
